Stopped by on a trip, food was better than expected and our waitress was very nice. No wait but it was winter during vacation. This was a while ago but just wanted to leave a review. Will be back if ever in the area
Great place,Great Food and service.
Been eating here for over 40 years.
Traveling from New Canaan Ct. To Manchester Vt. 1hr and 15 minutes from Manchester., Vt.
Worth the drive.
Stopped in on way home on a Monday evening in May so not much is open.
Food - We each had a special of the day. One was a baked haddock stuffed with crabmeat and the other stuffed italian shells with meatballs. Both were very flavorful and served hot.
Super nice pour on the glasses of wine and a nice beer tap selection.
Service - our waitress was a gem. She was very funny and it was fun to joke with her.
Atmosphere - nice high backed booths so it was cozy and able to have a conversation.
Very pleasantly surprised. Stuffed haddock was outstanding.
Probably the most random plate I’ve a ten at in Vermont but the food was delicious!
Staff were very nice and the atmosphere is very good too.
Good food and generous servings with salad and bread included. I've been eating here for over 25+ years for a reason. It's the best value around. I love their cheddar spinach haddock and fries.
Good menu, healthy portions, busy atmosphere and friendly staff.
Amazing food and really great service 👌
This is a bit of a throwback kinda place. Think old school restaurant - from the seating in dark wood filled room, to the big portions, (warm rolls, salad and choice of side dish with every order) and even the preparation styles are, shall we say, vintage.
For some it'll feel like a perfect comfort zone and to others it'll be a reminder of how much food has changed in the last 40yrs.

One of the oldest restaurants in Ludlow. I've been here a handful of times over the last couple years. Steak prices are a bit high but food quality is always excellent and you would have to travel quite a ways to get food this good somewhere else. Salads and rolls included with most meals. Atmosphere tends to be loud on the weekends but nice old nostalgic touches throughout. Staff treats you like family.

Amazing experience here. You start out with some rolls and then your entrees come with a salad and a side. You get a lot for what you pay for. Will come back.

I'm giving this place 4 to 4.5 stars. The food was ok, I felt the steak needed more seasoning. The service was just OK, felt a bit strange at times. The place is nice. Overall I might explore other options before coming back.
