The bar looked great! We were extremely excited to try it out, and I was blown away by the choices of tap beer. However, the first bartender was extremely rude and short he had a chip on his shoulder when my husband said that he had forgotten his cards in his car and didn’t even allow him to offer to pay in cash. It wouldn’t have really even mattered as I had my wallet anyways, and we share finances obviously. We are also local business owners, and the snarky attitude From the owner will certainly have us talking. Fast forward to the second bartender, a woman, Lisa, I believe, who was equally as short and said that the first bartender and her were married and owned the establishment. That was enough for us. We promptly paid for our drinks and only our drinks and got out of there as fast as we could. Will not be back, and hopefully the ownership can become more educated on what good customer service in the hospitality business is!

Eight Oh Brew in Ludlow is one of the best bars I’ve been to in Vermont. The atmosphere is cozy and stylish, with a cool downstairs location that feels like a hidden gem. There’s always plenty of seating, whether you’re there for a casual drink or a night out with friends.
The bartenders are super friendly and make you feel right at home. Service is quick, drinks are well-made, and the prices are surprisingly affordable for how nice the space is.
What really sets the vibe is the live music. They bring in great local talent that fills the space without being too loud—just the right energy to enhance the night. Between that, the $1 pool and foosball, and Buckhunter, there’s always something fun to do.
If you’re in Ludlow, Eight Oh Brew is a must-visit. Great drinks, good people, and a vibe that makes you want to stay a while.

Awesome selection. Great atmosphere and great people.
Worth the stop
Great place. Good beer selections that is cheap. 2 pool tables. Always has sports games on. Owner is also a cool dude.
We stopped in for a tipple and were charmed by the space. Located downstairs in a little strip mall, there is a “No Ski Boots” sign posted at the entrance. There is a bar area, and a games area, with pool tables, etc. The bartenders were friendly, and they have about 30 craft beers on tap. They were also doing a brisk take-out on the food they offer.
This place is great! Sad to see it empty on their 1 year anniversary. Give them your business, it’s a great space for hanging out
My favorite place in Ludlow. Great beer selection, fussball, pool tables and friendly staff. It’s a hidden gem. If only they did flights.
Wow! Amazing place with amazing vibes. Live music that sets the mood. My favorite part personally, as a women, the bathrooms were SO clean. This makes a huge difference for me. Would 100% go back and recommend! I hope all the best for Eight oh brew!
Great vibe for football and beers. Pool tables, buckhunter, diverse IPAs, very good bar food. We had 1 of everything and weren’t disappointed. I even brought the 4 and 6 yo after skiing and everyone was happy. Kind staff. Visiting from NYC and would highly recommend.

Great place for few pints especially for younger crews. Few games and good vibes
Best bar in ludlow.
Great new spot in downtown Ludlow. North side of road.
Eight Oh was a miracle saver for my wedding’s after party at the last minute after another local establishment canceled 4 days prior. Jake was amazing and offered to come in on his evening off to show the space and run through details. The bar is beautifully renovated, even the bathrooms are lovely. We enjoyed swinging on the ski lift chair, playing pool and foosball. And of course, drink service was excellent. Can’t wait to come back during ski season to watch football on their big screens.
Very nice place to end your night after a great dinner in town. The atmosphere was friendly, some were playing at the pool table, some drinking at the bar and we were enjoying the hockey game ! The beer range and choices was great. Ladies bathroom was really clean.
