Been here 2 years in a row for our golf trip. It's a must play course in Vermont. Perfect conditions. Green roll true. Layout is great. Staff is very good.

Paid 178 for 18 holes and a cart. Was forced due to frost delay to “8 min starter tee time”Which we abided by, and despite the feeling of almost wanting to drive into the group in front of us. From the 4th hole on was “harassed by the ranger” to keep on a “play times because we have, had a force frost delay and need to stay on pace”. Then at the 7th hole, despite being on the tee box, with the front team as the tee in front of us being on the 8th tee box, and in front of no one being on the entire 7th hole stated it took you 2 hours to play play seven, “you will need to skip your next , hole because we had a frost delay”. When the person from my group stated ”we are not holding anyone up” the ranger stated you need to “skip a hole”. A person from my stated from my cart said, “but we are not holding anyone up”. The ranger said” what, I can kick you off the course “. When questioned by another player in my group who was not from Vermont, his voice took a louder voice “due you want me to kick you off the course, because I can”. So, despite not delaying the group behind me, skipping the typical turn food/drink. We completed the 18 on 4 hours and 20 mins. Far above the 18 holes pace. So despite being well above pace play, I have never paid more for a course, and been treated soo poorly by a course and treated so bad by a ranger! The groups from in front of me and behind reported the same felling of harassment.

First off, the course is beautiful and in great shape as it is every year our group of 12 plays. We have been playing this course for the last 6+ years in early-mid September and it is a highlight. The price is getting a little steep though. I believe the cart should be included in the cost and there is no way people should be allowed to walk. Also this year some of the staff were rude and unwelcoming. A person in the bar seemed put off that we would come in and order a bunch of Bloody Marie's before the round. At $20 a piece I would think the bar would be thrilled to sell a bunch. The ranger came and told my group to pick up the pace on the 15th hole as we were behind schedule, he was rude and aggressive. We agreed that we were probably behind schedule but since the group behind us was more than 2 holes behind it was irrelevant . Also, if there was a pace problem you need to adress it way before the 15th. If you are going to charge $165-185 for golf and gouge customers for drinks I would expect to be treated with more respect. It makes us want to find a course that appreciates the business.

Nice course a little pricey

Beautiful course. Poorly run by staff. Didn’t get to play out a single hole with my group and was followed around to ensure pace was kept. This happened with the multiple groups ahead of us as well. Finished 9 holes in less than 1.5 hours - yet didn’t fully play out/and putt a single one. Total waste of money.

I’ll start by saying the golf course itself is exceptional. One of the best in Vermont. However last weekend we felt a little off put by what we were told was a charity fund raiser but it turned out to just be some kids making money for themselves and not actually charity. My wife works very closely with charitable foundations, most notable CHAD Children’s hospital at Dartmouth so we feel very compelled to help. We happily donated to the kids thinking it was a community fundraiser only later to find out that it was just going in their pockets and not to an actual charity of any kind. I believe one of the kids told our friend it was for a trip to Myrtle beach. To me this was dishonest and shouldn’t happen. That’s the kind of thing gofundme is for. At the very least they could have said it was for themselves and not given the impression that it had more noble intentions. I’m sure many people would still give kids money but it felt pretty deceptive. This is why real charities must follow strict rules to stay transparent. The IRS requires tax-exempt organizations (like 501(c) (3) nonprofits) to file annual reports (Form 990) detailing their finances, including how donations are spent. People don’t want to be taken advantage of.

Outstanding lunch! I ordered their salmon. It was cooked perfectly, and the corn succotash beautifully complimented the salmon. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

Played on 10/10. Phenomenal course, firm and fast greens. It's challenging but worth every penny.

Unbelievable golf course. I went up to VT 3 times since August, just to play this course. I’m from Connecticut and we have nothing like this near me. Conditions? Spectacular. Layout? Spectacular. Course equipment and facilities? Spectacular. Everything about this course is 5 stars, including the staff, and I will continue to come back in years to come as this is my favorite public course of all time.

This is by far my favorite public course I’ve ever played. The staff and facilities are in great shape, resturant also great. This course will only get ranked higher and higher every year and will def in the talks for top public course in the country. A special golf course
