Our family loves eating here. Their pipikaula short ribs are classic. I enjoy their tripe stew....best on the island. Their fried butterfish collars are ono and with free Haupia and onions and alae salt, you cannot go wrong. Go for the Menu C choice w/ large poi, you won't be disappointed.

High Quality Food. Far exceeded our expectations, we ordered from the "family takeout" menu for a group of 10. We had two trays of chicken parm, a tray of penne vodka and half tray of garden salad.Everything was so fresh and cooked perfectly, I've never had a take out experience be this great. Didn't even need a knife to cut the chicken.We had plenty of leftovers and have been enjoying them just as much.Highly recommend if you are in the Ludlow area, it was so perfect for us to have a high quality meal while staying in.

We had a small wedding at the restaurant. This is the best Italian food in Ludlow! The owner and staff are always friendly and helpful. Our decision to host our wedding there was a perfect choice! I would say this is one if the places you must try in Ludlow!

I had one of the best Fra Diavolo tonight, they serve homemade fresh pasta and the sauce was the perfect amount of spice. The salad was made from very fresh ingredients.My wife loved the chicken marsala, she said it was one of the best she has ever had.The staff, from the hostess to the servers were very polite and professional.The serving sizes were very reasonable, not overly large like some places, there is emphasis on quality here.The prices were very reasonable as well, especially for the quality of the meal. The atmosphere made it seem as if it was a more expensive restaurant.

My husband and I recently went away for a long weekend in Ludlow, VT. We had dinner at La Tavola and it was excellent. The owners Fernando and Sao are extremely nice and personable. The atmosphere and food was extraordinary. The best Italian food I have had. I even got the last piece of Sao's almond torte which finished off the meal perfectly. If you are in the area you should definitely go, you wont be disappointed!

This is Very attractive restaurant with a warm ambience. Excellent Italian food! Very pleasant and helpful service. A very nice surprise to find such a wonderful restaurant tucked up here in Vermont. Can’t wait to come back to visit Ludlow and will definitely not miss coming back La Tavola Italiana!

This place was truly excellent and I am not normally a fan of Italian food. The location is spectacular. Beautiful views from outside and a really classy and cozy interior. No complaints here. The staff are perfectly attentive and really sweet. They spent a lot of time with us and gave our baby a ton of attention. The food though! It was real, authentic, home cooked Italian. I can not stress this enough. I HATE Italian restaurants because I know they are charging me $20 for .99c worth of noodles and it makes me angry. Tavola was different. The flavors were ambitious and bold. Strong flavors, reasonable portions (instead of a pound of noodles you could never hope to finish). The desserts (Almond Cake and Maple Pudding Cake were outstanding. I will be back soon and often for these desserts. We worked our way through a fair share of cocktails, everyone fresh, flavorful, and strong enough to know you aren’t getting ripped off. I can’t stress this enough. This place is excellent and deserves your time.
We ate here last weekend, the food was average. One out six meals was very good. The wait staff was a bit aggressive trying to get us to order more food. They also brought us bottle of wine that was $30 more expensive than what we ordered. Unfortunately, we drank two bottles and didn’t realize they did this till we got the bill. We had clearly pointed to the cheaper wine on the wine list when we ordered. Will not be returning.

I was given a gift card over the holidays and decided it would be a good time to use it. We arrived around 6:45 pm and sat in the bar area. The bartender was friendly and attentive. We ordered an Appetizer to share along with some warm bread. The entrees came and were quite good. This was our second time at La Tavola and will definitely go back.
