Interesting location. Its very much every group/party for themselves. Plenty of people fighting for tables, saw a verbal sparring match break out over a table on the second floor. I think the vibe they are curating is intentional but not for everyone. If/when you land a table, its smooth sailing after that.

Their smoked meat platter is nothing short of amazing. Each meat has its own flavor profile and unique bbq sauce. The service was flawless with a waitstaff that was attentive, quick, and friendly. I live 3 hours away from here and will absolutely be coming back again. I never leave reviews but the French fries and smoked platter is worth of it.

The waiter was very rude; all the tables were full, there was only one table for six people, and there were only two of us. He simply came over and told us to leave because we couldn't sit there, that we should look for another table, but it was full. We left very upset; the waiter could have at least been polite.

If I spoke to someone the way that staff did here I would be suspended from my job. So rude and aggressive. Do they realize it’s their job to speak to people? Food was cold when we got it.

We had a wonderful experience at the Loft Tavern on our first night in Ludlow. The place is great, wonderful atmosphere - different than any where we have been. Busy and still efficient. Food was delicious and our server was attentive. Definitely recommend the brisket!!

My wife and I are still trying to figure out why this place has such good ratings. It was quite busy around 7pm on a Sunday, so we took a spot at the bar. Bartender looked either annoyed by our presence or was very overwhelmed (the couple next to us, who he knew, had great service) and was not too excited to be helping us. Prices were pretty crazy for what was served. Brisket sandwich had no sauce or anything other than dry brisket on it, which made it incredibly hard to eat, no chance to ask our disappearing bartender for sauce.
