In love with the freight house! It’s like if Starbucks met a cute hippy Vermonter and they got married. Drinks are super on brand for Starbucks and the baristas are quick and friendly. Food choices are plentiful, something for everyone and lots of healthy choices. I pretty much always do coffee though or one of their energy bites which are so so yummy. Only main negative is I wish they could be open an hour earlier as I leave for work by 6:30 and they don’t open till 7. That’s probably a blessing in disguise for my wallet though ☕️🤤💕
Incredible service and delicious food. I spent a morning at a table working and the folks behind the counter were so thoughtful. I received an ice water during my time here, they noticed I'd been there for some time and brought that to my table. Small gestures like these go a long way and are not common. Thank you!
BEWARE
Don’t go here if you want good food.
The grilled cheese was horrendous. The bread was extremely stale and there was basically no cheese. The orange slice was clearly cut at least a day ago. Crusty, brown edges and very over-ripe. I’m very disappointed. How hard is it to make a grilled cheese and cut an orange? Impressively low standard here. No idea how they have so many positive reviews. Maybe the gift shop, or perhaps people think that “healthy” means it’s okay to taste terrible and be served cold.

Love The Freighthouse! Great organic supplies and grocery items from local farms, ice cream year round, smoothies, delicious baked goods, fancy coffees made to order, , breakfast & lunch menu that's locally sourced, awesome soups, a gift shop upstairs (as well as a miniature scale village with working train!), plus a dining area and friendly service. Also a source for local info (Chamber of Commerce flyers). A must-stop if you are in the area.
Best selection of organic and clean food / products!

Good homemade baked goods. Starbucks coffee and tea. Nice place to sit in the back. And a little hot grocery store in front.
Came in and ordered a smoothie and it was great, staff were very nice and the store has a very nice atmosphere. Also a great parking lot with tons of spaces.

It's quiet and a country store feeling. All of the meal options are fresh. Starbucks coffee and lattes ready to go. So much natural foods to choose from and lunch/breakfast options. Well worth the stop, I encourage you.
