This diner has been closed since the major flooding along the river a couple of months ago. Unknown when or if they will re-open. I loved the food here, it was a really nice place when I visited last year.

The restaurant is an icon of NEK. Loved the #8 breakfast and the “Vermonter”.

Unfortunately, the early July 2024 was the last of this wonderful establishment. It’s been announced that they are not going to reopen. Very sad, but understandable.

Thank you Miss Lyndonville for all the great memories. Best of luck to the wonderful staff.

I grew up in Lyndonville. It’s the best place within a 100 miles. I buy their mugs every time I get there from North Carolina. Their mugs make my coffee even better.

Perfect for self, family, and couples dining. Food was delicious. Portions great and had a burger that had everything I love on it (I clusing French fries!)

I love the food here, and the service is friendly.
I try to stop here any time I'm in the area. At least for a bowl of homemade soup, which never disappoints.

I absolutely love this diner! They have filled that hole in my heart where Parson's used to be (when they had breakfast). This place just hits the spot when I get off the highway after the long drive up to VT. I've come for lunch and I've come for breakfast. For breakfast, I love their country fried steak! Its just everything that you could want for breakfast. For lunch, I had a "blue plate special" which was delicious. If I have the slightest bit of room after the meal, their pie is great. I've had pumpkin, maple cream and a peanut butter pie. (See the photos). If you're passing through - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Parking: Parking seems plentiful but gets busy on the weekends.

Food and service are always top-notch. The restaurant is small and a little cramped. There is usually a wait, but it will be well worth it.

The food was well prepared and well made. However it tasted middle of the road for similar establishments, the place was packed, absolutely packed. Despite that the service was still great, it wasn't perfect or quiet 5 star but still really good. The atmosphere on the other hand was perfect, from the seating to the kitchen it was classic dinner with its own charm. People were even dressed like a dinner, they had bar counter seating, two person, family, large family, you name it they got it.
