We were told the restaurant was very busy for Mother's Day brunch and were grateful that they were able to accommodate two additional guests who joined us. The restaurant was busy, but nowhere near full. We waited 45 minutes for our food to be delivered (5 eggs benedict and 1 BLT) - not complicated. The food was lukewarm, but we had waited so long that we didn't want to send it back and wait again. Disappointing.

A wonderful dining experience from start to finish. The food is delicious, the service is outstanding, and the ambience is superb. You will not be disappointed at this charming spot.

Overall it was a true disappointment, there is no charm left in the marsh tavern and the falcon bar. It was void of anything reminiscent of what a colonial hotel should be, not to sound trite or mean but this could have been a high end hotel next to an airport for what it matters. The food. My lobster bisque was good, tasty, but the plates that was served on was this modern bowl that was uneven and could have been a planter or flower vase. Didn't fit to be in a colonial tavern. My steak was coked perfectly, but lacked salt, i ordered bernaise (sp) and when it arrived it was runny and ice cold. I have never had that. The Brussels sprouts that my wife ordered were burnt and the maple drizzled on it could not masked that. Over all the place has lost all of its charm, its footing, the modern clean look of the hotel does not fit its stature and the heritage that this icon in the states is not befitting. It was once the best restaurants in the city and if you do you research it looks like it has dropped from the top 10 to the mid twenties in the rankings. I dont think i would go back. Maxine was our server and she was fantastic! Helpful and gave awesome service!

Why the hell do they keep stripping all of the charm out of the equinox. The falcon bar is the only spot left with some old world charm. The once beautiful and cozy Marsh Tavern is now cold, lacks any ambience, feels like your in a gray hallway vs the once wood bar area that felt special. Not a flower or a candle on the tables, just a hallway production area to feed people. So disappointed, the once former charming cozy Equinox must be rolling in its grave. Waitress was nice but too busy as she was also serving in the Falcon Bar and the food was just fine. My chicken was dry as a bone but the ceasar salad starter was nice. So unmemorable and many other places in the area I would rather eat!!!

Food was terrible. It is a very simple menu with only a few selections available. We were a party of 6, most of us got the Cacio e pepe pasta, the others got the burger...it was all terrible. Service was slow. When they finally brought the bread basket, they did not bring any plates so we just looked at the bread because no one ever came by so we could ask for plates. Very disappointed, don't waste your time and money.

For the cost, the value is no where close to where it needs to be. The Equinox has gone downhill over the last few years and we will not be back. Upon arriving, we were told the kitchen was way backed up and we couldn't be seated. Once we were sat, it took over 10 minutes for a server to approach our table. It took over 20 minutes to get our bottle of wine(with no apology). The bartender at the Falcon Bar was so unorganized, it took over 20 minutes to get 4 drinks. The service was not good at all. The food was ok. The only thing good was the food did come out timely, the kitchen must have caught up because our food was delivered within 15 minutes of ordering. But overall, not worth the value.

It's unfortunate the experience here has changed since my last visit a year ago. I'd like to say it's due to a lack of staff. Dinner for two on a slower night, drinks took 15+ minutes and were made incorrectly. Dinner presentation was great. Overall, hope this place turns it around

Delicious food. Service was very good and swift except: they gave our desserts to someone else!

The menu was fairly limited. Unfortunately the main restaurant wasn't open for another week. The food prices were quite high for what we got. But the service was excellent and fast.

Well we gave it our 3rd try for the Marsh Tavern Falcon Tavern $15 weekly special and again the food was unacceptable. It was Burger night and both burgers ordered were not prepared well. One was only half cooked. And this time the service was as slow as our first visit. And we felt like the server was ignoring us. We are locals so based on our 3 experiences we will not be going back again.

My husband and I stopped by the Marsh Tavern for drinks a few times during our trip to Manchester. The bartender, Bryce, was so awesome. We had so much fun talking with him and he mixed great drinks (specifically his Vermont Old Fashioned). Highly recommend heading over to hang with Bryce!

As a long time Winter resident of Manchester the Marsh Tavern/Chop House has been a staple in our weekend itinerary. It has been several years and the Marsh Tavern was phenomenal as always. The Tavern/Falcon Bar holds the fondest memories of my godfather and I am already booking my next trip back

The Marsh Tavern is pricey but the food was good. I had the bolognese special and the pasta tasted like it was made in house. My husband and daughter had the filet with asparagus and potatoes and said it was cooked perfectly. The server was really sweet and attentive. The dessert was really delicious as well. I had the bread pudding and my daughter had the warm cookie on a skillet with ice cream. Overall, we had a wonderful dinner here and would recommend it to anyone coming to visit the sweet town of Manchester, VT
