We dined in the Chop House of the Marsh Tavern in the Equinox Hotel & Spa. This property is iconic in Manchester VT near Hildene Plantation, the historic home of Mary Todd Lincoln after the assignation of Abraham Lincoln. The server in charge of the Chop House is Ms. Maxine, a long time team member at this popular restaurant. The service was the BEST and the food delicious. As with the rest of the Equinox resort the Marsh Tavern was very sort staffed. We were seated right away as we had reservations. It took quite a while for a wait person to Come to our table. When she came to bring drinks to the table next to us she was surprised she had another table. She was great given she was the only wait staff we saw for quite sometime. The manager sat at the hostess desk and did very little to help. The Lobster Roll was a small amount of ? Poached lobster...

We had a delicious dinner with ample interesting choices. The chef adds well selected snd healthful sides that accompanied our mest selections. The ambience is charming and the mManager, Paige, is both welcoming and knowledgeable. We highly recommend Marsh Tabern!
