Pearl's has been around 3 years but we've just discovered it and we're so excited! Excellent southern comfort food, some inventive dishes (bacon clothesline), good cocktails, nice atmosphere inside and out. But it's the staff that are SO nice that make it even better! Great for a casual date or big group dinner.

My husband and I dined here for the first time and will definitely return. We were warmly greeted when we entered, immediately shown to an indoor table. Our waiter (unfortunately we did not get his name) was not only attentive and very efficient but also friendly, engaging us in conversation throughout our meal. He insured that we got our food in time to enjoy before needing to leave to make a play at the Dorset Theayer. Complimentary cornbread fingers were delicious are was our crab and shrimp in avocado appetizer and Pearl's salad. My husband said his Creole Gumbo was the best he's had I definitely enjoyed my shrimp & grits. I'm pretty sure the cocktail menu cannot be rivaled anywhere. This along with outstanding service, friendly staff and delicious food guarantees a wonderful experience.

Delicious food and accommodating staff made this a wonderful dining experience. The brisket was cooked to perfection, Gighly recommended.
The cold smoked pork tenderloin was tender, delicious, and a generous portion. The dijonnaise was rather bland, but that allowed us to better savor the the main course. Pearls salad had very fresh lettuce, a sparse sprinkling of dried cherries and a nice dressing. The accompanied grilled chicken was somewhat bland. The corn bread sticks with maple butter are a nice touch. Our server was also tending bar that evening, but he was gracious and efficient. The flourless chocolate torte had just the right texture and flavor; not too dense as one often finds. The strawberry shortcake was the other great way to end the evenings dining experience.

My favorite place to go in Vermont! Menu and food is outstanding (we do the “pick 2, 3 or 4 so we get to try a few different things and it's also a great value). The atmosphere is warm and cozy, (think upscale meets rustic). Staff is super friendly, service is on point. Highly recommend!

Our server, Jodi, made our experience even better. The food was great and we enjoyed dining on the patio. We got to see the first table flip due to a wind gust. Enjoyed the little country store inside. Everyone did a wonderful job making us feel at home. Job well done by all.

Food was ultimately very nice w good sized portions- and our sever was friendly but after she took our order it looks about 1 hr 15 min for our food to come out! It was stressful and the dining room was a bit warm so it wasn't a positive wait. She apologized and thanked us for our patience but we had a babysitter at home and it made us feel like we had to rush to eat our meals. We were only a party of two and it was a Thursday and we had a reservation. Not sure what happened.
