We enjoyed the focaccia bread for our app. The garlic and rosemary added to it was so good. My husband got the red wine sausage with cabbage with a grainy mustard. We wish there was more mustard sauce with it otherwise it was a 9/10 meal. The cabbage was cooked very well wish I knew how to cook cabbage like that I would eat it a lot more. I got the baked cavatelli which came out steaming hot in a cast iron. It was a delicious pasta and I would recommend it. Our only complaint was a server was a bit slow and didn’t check on us much. We sat outside in “The Yard” early October. Note there is no heaters. We would definitely come back!

This place was absolutely fantastic, offering an unforgettable dining experience that left a lasting impression. The eggplant appetizer was a delightful start to the meal, accompanied by a flatbread that was so irresistibly delicious it was worth breaking any carb-free diet. The texture and flavor of the flatbread were perfectly complemented by the eggplant, creating a harmonious blend that set the tone for the rest of the meal.

Moving on to the main course, the pizza was a standout dish. As a New Yorker, I am often skeptical of pizza outside of New York City, but this Vermont pizza truly exceeded my expectations. The dough was expertly crafted, with a perfect balance of chewiness and crispiness that made each bite a pleasure. The toppings were fresh and flavorful, and the overall taste was so impressive that it was actually worth talking about. I would highly recommend the pizza to anyone visiting this restaurant.

In terms of overall food quality, I rate this place 5 stars. It’s a testament to the skill and dedication of the chefs in creating such exceptional dishes. However, I would suggest passing on the crab toast unless you have a specific craving for crab. While it might appeal to some, there are plenty of other delicious dishes on the menu to choose from that offer a more diverse and satisfying experience. Overall, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience with outstanding food.

So good! We came here after a wedding for Sunday brunch and it was the best decision we made. The atmosphere was welcoming and inviting. We were seating near their open kitchen concept which was fun to watch them cook. And the food...was on point! It soothed my soul.

Heavenly baked goods! The pastry chef is a true master. The ham and cheese croissant might feed 4 people, but you won’t want to share it. Perfectly buttery and flaky and full of flavor. And the fresh brioche sticky bun? Speechless.

We ate outside and loved the visual atmosphere, but the music that night was incredibly loud. They had what appeared to be a wedding party so perhaps that was why, but it seemed very unnecessary and made it hard to talk. The food was good, but most of it was pretty expensive for the size of the dish. The pizza was big and delicious though! Something to note if you're bringing young kids - they don't have much that can come out fast and be a good option for kids. We asked for just a few chips for our son to snack on while we waited for pizza but we couldn't get any. Totally on us for forgetting snacks, but it would have been nice.

Incredible. The cocktails and food are delicious. I will be dreaming of the focaccia.

We are in town for a wedding. The bride and groom hosted a reception here. Servers couldn’t have been more kind and attentive. Empty plates, glasses and used utensils were whisked away promptly. The outdoor post and beam area is inviting and comfortable. The delicious pizzas were never in short supply and perfectly wood fired. The house pickled veggies were incredible. Nice and crisp without being overly briny. The signature cocktails were delightful. If ever I find myself in Manchester again, this will be the first place I go!

The chef is terrific at creating surprising dishes from produce from farms and locations near Manchester, VT. Each dish is sophisticated, combining textures and flavors that surprise you at each course. The staff is welcoming and you must even when there is a chill to the air sit out at The Yard!
