We waited an hour for two pizzas and a salad. The salad came out after 25 minutes. At the hour mark we asked the manager what was going on and rather than apologizing or offering any solution, they argued with us and said the kitchen was working as fast as they could. Which would have been a good lie if we hadn’t watched tables seated 30 minutes after us be served before we were. Also if we couldn’t see the kitchen from our seats.
I’ve worked in several bars and restaurants. I am pretty certain the bartender either forgot to ring in the food or forgot to fire the second course. And that would have been fine, if we had gotten an apology or a promise to rush our order (that we ended up needing to take to-go since it took so long). But no, all we got was a poor excuse from the manager that “it depends when the ticket hits the kitchen” with no acknowledgement that 60 minutes for two pizzas is ridiculous.
TLDR: poor service for average pizza.

We came back our second morning in Manchester because we enjoyed the first visit so much. The breakfast toasts, pastries, and coffee were great. The yogurt parfait keeps you full all morning. The service was a highlight.

Ate at the yard tonight with a large group and the food was incredible and service impeccable! I have a few allergies that are a pain to accommodate and the waitstaff were so kind and went out of their way to help us - 10/10 experience!!

This is a great spot for dinner and we're so glad to have it close by. Our server Dan was amazing! We had oysters & tuna to start, the duck & squid ink cavatelli as mains & then the pavlova for dessert. All were so delicious but the oysters and duck were our favorite. We look forward to coming back!

NYC quality and service. Transcends being just a bunch of young hip people and becomes a legit destination.
Menu has an electric affection in how fresh and well assembled it is - no gimmicks, nothing cute and doesn’t compromise for vanilla middle aged tourists.
Given how excellent the food is - the pizza dough is probably Bialy inspired rather than being unintentionally two dense.
Will be back on every visit
