Very authentic, rustic, and charming sugar house feel to this restaurant/gift shop. Food is excellent, as is the service. Real maple syrup is on the table of course. If you want fake syrup for your pancakes, it costs extra! LoL!
Very cute spot and gorgeous trees right now, the omelette was pretty good and would definitely recommend it with some home fries toast and a side of bacon! Also got a maple nut waffle which was just alright, would probably get the pancakes or the french toast after seeing them come out.
Everyone working seemed pretty stressed which is a bummer and the main reason I’m giving it 4 stars

Not somewhere i will be returning to. The staff was rude and off-putting about a food allergy I have. The "special recipe" for the pancakes comes from a box. The food was not cooked correctly. I came here during my honeymoon, and couldn't be more unhappy with the experience, other than the nice ornament my wife found.
Dietary restrictions: DO NOT go here with a food allergy. My server made me feel even worse about my food allergy than i already do. I very clearly mentioned what it was, and in stead of working with the kitchen staff she came back and dropped a box of pre-made pancake mix down on the table for me to read. When I pointed out the ingredient I had mentioned, she return and slapped down a pre-made bag of gluten-free pancake mix and told me to read that and see if it would work. The lack of attention to detail or follow through was startling- i actually didn't see my food allergy written down on my food ticket, just the word allergy. I ended up not eating most of my meal, which was partially cold and undercooked anyway.

We came here after receiving tons of recommendations, and it truly lived up to the hype. The food was absolutely delicious; everything we tried was perfect. The atmosphere is equally amazing, with a charming setting. They have a fantastic souvenir store in the basement, and outside, you can walk the property and discover more about its history.
And let’s not forget the maple syrup. it’s a standout! If you’re ever in the area, don’t miss out on this place. It’s a delightful stop that will leave you satisfied and smiling.

Great breakfast and fast service in a fast paced environment. My pancakes were a little undercooked in the middle, but I didn’t plan on eating the entire pancake anyways. I loved our server. Sitting upstairs, we were above the serving station and saw many of the younger servers grab cups and mugs at the top and not at the base, which is bad policy and should be corrected, but it’s and easy correction. Would return!

What an amazing breakfast spot! The staff was undeniably some of the friendliest people we’ve met. The food was top tear. If the special is still available, do not pass on the apple cinnamon stuffed French toast. Can’t wait to come back on our next visit to VT.

I was disappointed to learn that the ice cream was not homemade, when in the menu it stated it was. Hash was out of a can, powdered sugar added to butter? On a positive note they do serve real maple syrup
