My husband and I finally got to try Dan’s for takeout after hearing many great things about them. Let me tell you, the rumors were true! First of all, the (two) phone calls I made to place our order were answered by exceptionally friendly staff. When my husband picked the food up he said everyone was very kind, the service was quick, and the restaurant was well organized and clean. Now on to the most important part…the FOOD. It was by far the best BBQ we have ever had. We couldn’t decide what to get (hence the two phone calls) so we had the chicken wings, chicken, pulled pork, burnt ends, Mac and cheese, baked beans, fries, coleslaw, corn bread, and twinkies. The portions were large and we got three meals out of it. The meat was tender and juicy, and the sides were all absolutely delicious. We tried multiple sauces and I honestly don’t think I could pick a favorite because they were all so good. I can’t recommend Dan’s Northern BBQ enough, and I’m so happy they came to Milton!

I am giving it 3 stars, as the meal was definately good, but not great. I have doublechecked menu 2x to see if I missed, but ribs are Beef, not pork... so when I got home I was definately bummed. Confused as they do offer pulled pork. Mac n Cheese was solid, the bbq beans also good, just watery, not thick like most. Last comment, supply chain and prices are up, I do recognize that, I do... but 2 adults, 2 kids... spent $88 dollars... so my revisits will have to be farther, just because...not cheap. Not saying not going back, just cant swing frequent trips, but as I said earlier, flavors are good !

Ordered take-out on 8/12/22 5pm. Paid $100.00 for: brisket meal (3ish oz brisket, 1/2 cup beans, 1/2 cup mac) 12 chicken wings (6 were scorched, no dipping sauce or raw veg), 4 chicken tenders (previously frozen, no side), coleslaw side (3/4 cup generic bagged coleslaw), including service tip.Extremely disappointed. When called to inform, offered "a free meal" down the road.Portions are incredibly too small for the price paid. Flavor of smoked meat was there but did not at all make up for the lack-luster sides and outlandish price.This restaurant location in Milton needs help. This is the third or fourth food business that has tried to function here since 2019. If businesses have to serve food in this way to afford the location, IT IS NOT THE BUSINESSES' FAULT. It is the owner of the location.PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE, MILTON!!!

I think the way SLC ribs are cooked says a lot about the establishment. "Fall off the bone" is not a sign of good ribs. Those are overcooked ribs. I love SLC ribs, I grill them myself and I hold the bar high for what I consider to be good ribs and I gotta say, the ribs I had the other night were perfect.The sauces were great as well. Don't be afraid of the ones you think are going to be too hot. Both the jalapeno and habanero sauces were flavorful but mild on the heat.Sides, that which were available, were ample. These guys are new and still working out the kinks so I'm not going to hold it against them that they ran out of something when the focus is and should be on what comes from the smoker.I'll be back for sure.

Me and wife did take out on Friday night ordered the sampler which on the menu is 40 dollars got to the restaurant and was charged 83 dollars for it which shocked me but Mabye the menu was wrong price wiseGot home with the food and we had a container of the meats which were all stone cold and I am guessing another person meal which had a meat that we already had in the other container and French fries which we did not order. Then proceeded to open the 3 sides which was mozzarella sticks Mac and cheese and coleslaw the Mac and cheese was not even two bites worth and the mozzarella sticks were only 2 and cold and soggy me Ans my wife will not be returning and will not recommend if I could leave no star rating I would

The meat is delicious!!! I’d go back for the meat!! The sides are NOT so good. The carrots were big chunks of hard raw carrots. I’d be better off just eating a raw carrot. The coleslaw has no flavor….we wanted to love it but no flavor at all. Again the meat was so good!!

Ribs were flavorful and tender. Mac and cheese was creamy and delicious. Potato salad was probably the best I've ever had. The homemade sauces were also incredible, DEFINITELY worth the trip!
