Black Diamond BBQ

Black Diamond has the best food, service, atmosphere, and exceptional servers!!! Will frequent with friends for sure. We highly recommend the BD BBQ!

First time going to Black Diamond BBQ, and I was blown away by the smoked chicken wings with the maple habanero BBQ sauce. The perfect amount of heat, came with carrots & celery, and they give you 1lb. The server was extremely friendly and made certain we didn't feel rushed at any point. I'll be dreaming of these!

Best BBQ I've ever had. Everything on the platter was excellent.

We were in Stowe in 2023 but this place was closed during our stay. We’ve been itching to get back and try it ever since. We’ve waited this long to have BBQ that was mediocre at best. Meat was all super tender but that was the only redeeming factor unfortunately. The sausage was greasy tasting, all of the meat was completely smothered in a very acidic tasting sauce so the *little that there was* flavor of the meat did not shine through.

To even stomach more than a few bites, I had to salt everything to what felt like an extreme. The Mac and cheese tasted like cheese flavored water- Kraft has more flavor. I’m not usually this hard in my reviews but for how much you have to spend here, it’s so very VERY not worth. I promise you can find better food elsewhere.

Meh. Nothing special. BBQ sauce seemed “out of a bottle.” Expensive for what you get. Smoked brisket had not a hint of smoke. Bartender was not particularly friendly. What bbq joint doesn’t know diners will need more than one napkin?

BBQ pork was great! Chicken tenders were very thin and overcooked! The 13 dollar side of fries were ok! Coleslaw and pickled cubes were terrible! Service was absolutely horrible! Our server never said hello, never ever smiled, never said thank you!!!

Wow! What a fantastic experience and a great evening and dinner with my wife, son and his wife! This is the real deal - we had one of the meat platters to share amongst us and the Mac-N-Cheese was phenomenal! I’ve had BBQ all over the country and this stacks right up there with the best. To top it off, I left my Visa card in the black folder but had to leave the next morning. Jason confirmed he had it and mailed it out to our home the next day - very grateful.

As a local this was my first time going to BDB and I was sorely disappointed. Our server comes over after a long period of time to ask what drinks we would like and doesn’t take our order at this time even though we were ready. We wait another 10 min for her to come back with our drinks and she then takes our order. After the waiter leaves we take a sip of our drinks (we ordered Coke) and the drinks were flat. The food portions were not good, I am unsure of what all the rave reviews are talking about when they mention there are good portions. I ordered the turkey platter and got a mediocre portion of turkey with horrible bbq sauce on it, a side of cucumbers, and coleslaw that was the worst I’ve ever had, and two slices of bread. I ordered my child a cheeseburger and he ended up getting a smash burger. I had high expectations for this place considering the parking lot is always full and they are open only 3 days a week. Not sure what the hype is all about. I will also mention that seating is limited and there are maybe 8 tables.

So so so delicious! Saturday night during foliage and we got right in. Local, long term take out customers. The only thing better than take out BD and that’s BD fresh out of the kitchen. Totally relaxed, quick and friendly service, delicious food and drink.

Great food and excellent service. Best place in Morristown. Somewhat expensive, but worth it. Large portions.
