On Thursday, August 28th, my husband and I arrived in Newport a long with my parents, cousin and his spouse. My husband called and made a reservation for 6 pm. Our entire experience was total PERFECTION. I had one of the best Martini's I have ever had in my life! We started with the Calamari and Tuna Wontons, which were outstanding. For my entree, the Pan seared scallops with roasted beet risotto, grilled asparagus, red pepper coulis. We even went for dessert! Everything was just incredible!!
On Saturday evening (the 30th) my husband and I came in for appetizers and cocktails. We sat at the bar this time. The place was rocking with energy and people kept walking through the door for dinner and to sit at the bar! I had the Paris Manhattan, which was incredible and my husband had the Ginger Martini, and crab cakes! FANTASTIC.
Le Belvedere is a massive asset to the City of Newport and hopefully, will be an integral part of the revitalization of Main Street. We cannot wait for our next visit to the NEK (we come up from Boston frequently) and we even got to chat with the Mayor today... (Sunday).

We were finally able to return last night after being absent since their Covid closure and an unfortunate schedule that didn’t work for us.
It was good to return- very good service and food. A menu that should appeal to many.

May 2024 We celebrated Mother’s Day at Le Belvedere.. The service was impeccable! Thanks Chelsea! The food divine … crab cakes, sushi grade tuna rice bowl, seafood risotto and gnocchi. Yum!!! They also had an array of choices for children, nuggets, sliders, truffle fries and Mac & Cheese. Thank you Le Belvedere for helping make our Morher’s Day so special!

Went about a month ago for anniversary dinner and it was great! The atmosphere was cozy, the views were awesome. Service was great. We were the only ones there for a while, which was surprising to me. My husband had a chicken dish and I got the steak tips on special. Very good! Seemed pricey at first, but the portions were huge. Like 2 meals worth for me! Can't wait to go back and sit outside in summer. You really can't beat the location.

So this place open only when it is booked out with any gathering, it seldomly opens to function as a restaurant, mostly when there are activities near the waterfront or certain holidays as what i observed. But the place is clean, tables are ample spacing. Accepts credit/debit. Parking space is alot to choose and high chairs are available. Bathroom is also clean and spacious. Food is great!
Le Belvedere was the setting for a luncheon reception following a Memorial Service for my Dad. The location was beautiful, the room layout friendly and attractive, the food homemade-tasty, the assigned hostess very accommodating and thoughtful. My only concern was that it was very difficult to communicate with management prior to the event. However, when you were able to do so, they were very helpful and delivered just as promised.

Dena Gray and her staff provided a wonderful venue, delicious food, great service, gorgeous flowers, fabulous hors d'oeuvres, and fantastic evening for my birthday celebration. Many of the attendees expressed their thorough enjoyment of the evening, setting, and delicious, beautifully presented food.
