My husband and I visited Newport and learned about T's from our Airbnb host and we liked it so much , we came back again the following night. The specials were awesome, particularly the cheeseburger egg rolls and chicken fajita burrito. Bartenders were so friendly and attentive, both days, and good beers on tap for these beer snobs. Highly recommend!

Not a local and we were looking for a place to grab lunch, and this spot ended up being a great choice. We ordered mimosas and chicken sandwiches with fries, and everything was excellent. The garlic mayo and their T-bar sauce were especially good. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the overall vibe felt great. Can’t wait to come back next time we’re in Vermont.

Took a friend here for her birthday lunch. She was familiar with this restaurant and ordered her usual - chicken basket. Grumpy ordered a burger (surprise) . When our waitress started listing the specials, she had me at Salmon/Shrimp with tomato garlic cream sauce. It was fantastic!!! No leftovers from my plate. Grumpy said his burger was excellent. Fries were homemade and our birthday girl was able to take home leftovers. Restaurant appeared clean, staff was attentive, food was top notch!

We stopped here on our way up to Canada and were so glad we did! The service was absolutely outstanding—friendly, fast, and attentive. Even though it was just a quick stop, the staff made us feel truly welcome. The food came out quickly, was fresh, and exceeded our expectations for a travel stop. You can tell they really care about creating a positive experience for their guests. If you’re passing through the area, this spot is definitely worth the stop!

By FAR the best burger I EVER HAD!!! Hands down! This place is amazing! The service and atmosphere made us feel downright welcome. We were traveling from a weekend in Canada and decided to stop and have a bite. Best decision I ever made! Absolutely took me by surprise! Compliments to the chef/cook Isaac! After leaving our campground on foot to head downtown, this was the first open spot we found. Don’t be deceived by the outside, this place rocks. We walked in and it was packed with locals. We immediately received a warming welcome and subsequent great service from the bartender (sorry we forget her name but the check says Arrow.). She was awesome and so helpful. The pizza was great (amazing crust) and the drafts affordable. The owner checked in numerous times and was awesome too. If in the area, check this place out.

Thought we'd try a different place when we were in town again. Busy tables. Comprehensive menu. Wife had thai bang tacos, and loved them. I had dry rub wings (yum yum). Homemade strawberry rhubarb pie, peanut butter pie. Great service, fun t shirts. Very nice experience. 200+/- seats out of one kitchen. Awesome. Definitely going back.

My husband and I are on a 12 night motorcycle tour around the NE and happened upon Newport and the T Bar on our travels. We are both gluten free which can make it tough to track down food. Both my husband and I chose the T Bar burgers without buns, my husband had the fries on the side and I had the salad. Both were great tasting burgers and cooked perfectly along with the sides. The more surprising thing was the bill at the end. Great food and service at a reasonable price.

I drove here on the bike from Maine and I was really impressed with this staff! They all worked together and everyone looked happy to be there which is hard to find these days. Food was fantastic but the service was top notch! If you’re ever passing thru, make it a point to stop in and check it out for yourself .

What a find!!!!! Our go-to restaurant in Newport was closed today and we had heard good things about the T-bar, so thought we’d give it a try. It was beyond all the good things we were told!! The service could not have been better! We were immediately approached just after seating and checked on multiple times. The food arrived just as quickly-piping hot and DELICIOUS. I ordered sweet potato fries as an alternate with my shrimp and they came with a unique dipping sauce that was the perfect complement. The servings were more than filling- so I had to get my raspberry pie dessert to go. I am positive it wlll be just as wonderful as the rest of the meal. When you’re next in Newport, you’ll be doing yourself a real favor to dine at the T-bar! (I’m already planning- I live over an hour away~ a trip in the near future with my daughter and granddaughter-who will also love the park across the street!!!)💕💕💕
