We love the restaurant in the motel (patrons over 20 years) but the beach/lake bar falls far short. The entries are tiny for what they charge, and who ever heard of Nachos without salsa? The Calamari was literally like rubber from being a cheap frozen product, and the drinks are small filled with ice to the brim and very expensive. It's almost like the two restaurants have different owners, go figure. Next time, we will continue northward to the North Hero House as we have also never smelled the sewers there like we did at Bravo Zulu! So NO, BRAVO from us!
Update: There response was to try and deflect as BTW we gave the Spot a 4 star and others a 5 star so rather than dealing with your failings you try to put a negative light on us, sorry it doesn't work since we have many positive reviews for good restaurants but nice try at dodging the issues and try tp question our integrity but your response smells much like your sewer smell at the Bravo!

Ugh, mostly deep-fried fare (=unhealthy). Menu has gone downhill. Veggie burger: gone. Fish taco: gone. Deep-fry mania. Online and in-person menus dont jibe. Nice setting & staff, but poor food. Not recommended.

We arrived at noon and the restaurant filled up quickly. It seems they had ample staff to handle the surge. The waitstaff is friendly and efficient. The burger was cooked as requested and quite good. The lobster roll was good and the fries are very good. The atmosphere is relaxing. We wish there were more to choose from on the menu, but understand they’re working on that. We will definitely go back.

My friend and I were visiting Grand Isle and decided to grab a bite to eat at Bravo Zulu.

I ordered a Fish and Chips and my friends ordered a Caprese Wrap. The breading of the fish was wonderfully light and crispy and the fish itself was very tasty.

The Caprese Wrap was ample and flavorful. I drank a non-alcoholic drink, a Strawberry Pineapple Sparkler. My friend ordered a beer (Hazy IPA). We both enjoyed our drinks.

The service was excellent and the view of the lake was/is beautiful.

Bravo Zulu is worth visiting and I recommend that you do so!

The staff was overall friendly and the view along the lake is great. Our table ready buzzer didn't work and it took over an hour and a half to be seated. Our food was very disappointing. The miso fish was a dry piece of cold salmon with no seasoning on it. Cocktails were very bad. The side of marinated vegetables were a black pile of unrecognizable mush.

We stopped in for lunch. It was our first time on Lake Champlain and we were very happy we chose Bravo Zulu to stop at. Collectively we had popcorn shrimp, chicken nachos, caprese wrap and the clam strip special. We each had different beers (including one of the non-alcoholic options). The food was delicious, the atmosphere was excellent and the service was as outstanding! The roof and walls are retractable so when it’s nice out (like it was today), the place is wide open. They also have tables with umbrellas to provide some shade options. We would definitely return and recommend checking them out!

Parking: Plenty of parking space as well as dock space (and there’s even an attendant on the weekends)!

Kid-friendliness: Lots of space (grass) for kids to run around as well as cornhole (when the weather is nice).

Our favorite venue on the lake but the 2024 menu is disappointing. It looks like different management this and it is definitely not as good. Hopefully, they will figure things out.

Better than last time..need to upgrade their menu but the burger was ok..our waiter was excellent and had live music...overall a nice time with my family and we came by boat

Drinks were terrible could use a mixologist or at least someone who has more experience than store bought mixer plus alcohol. Seriously plastic everything? Utensils? Cups? Plates? $100 later for fries, chicken tenders for my kids, and two drinks. As a local, it seems like ALL the places along the shore are really relying on their “atmosphere” instead of providing decent food. Idk maybe snowbirds don’t care but it’s pretty sad locals can’t enjoy a reliable place in the islands for a night out.

Cool vibe, singer was great. Waitress took our order, handed us our food and for the next half an hour we didn’t see her, didn’t check in, ask us if we needed anything. We wanted to order drinks but after 40 minutes of sitting there when she finally came over we just took the bill. Very expensive for very ok pub food. I had a soda my wife had a water with our dinner. With tip it was $82 you have a choice of paying 18% 22% or no tip. She def was not worth 18% but also didn’t think she deserved nothing so we just clicked the lowest option. Won’t be back. Pier bar a couple miles down the road and is sooooooo much better.
