Wood fired maple sriracha wings are the best wings I’ve ever had. Sooooooo good. (Beer is great too)

I went in about a month ago hoping that their rising from the ashes (or flood, or COVID) would make for some new and improved products. It's the closest brewery to my cabin and I truly want them to succeed. It's about the same as it has always been which to me makes me look elsewhere. I'm hoping they up their game a bit. I wish them the best.

So glad Outer Limits is back from its closure! Limited menu right now (Oct 2025) but the food is great, and the ~4 beers on tap are awesome too.

Our family frequented Outer Limits BEFORE the flood and liked the pizza and the beer. But we just visited this past Friday and were disappointed. We tried all the 5 beers on tap and the porter was the best, the other were ok. Most disappointing was the pizza; it was $22 for what can best be described as 4 pieces of cheese on bread with sauce dumped out of a jar onto the top. (See pic). What New Englander or even a visitor to Vermont wants Detroit style pizza? It’s terrible. One can get a larger and better pizza in Boston and in Ludlow for $22. We also had the pretzels; they were good but the restaurant should serve 4 rather than 3 for the price. I’m surprised there are so many positive reviews for this place but I think that must be locals being overly kind or those who didn’t order the pizza.

The maple sriracha wings are a MUST! Great but small selection of beers (6 options, 1 IPA, 1 sour, etc) - but a nice casual spot for a bite and a drink. Offer lots of sizes and options.

We are so happy this spot in Ludlow is back open after being closed for 2 years due to the flood, it was absolutely worth the wait! The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and perfect for everything from a casual dinner to a night out with friends or family.

The beer list may be small right now, but it’s thoughtful and really well done: a great lager, a refreshing sour, a perfectly balanced IPA, and a smooth hefeweizen, truly something for everyone. We were told even more beers will be rolling out this fall, which we’re already looking forward to.

The food is excellent across the board. The pizza is fantastic, one of the best we’ve had in Vermont and the maple sriracha wings are a must! Don’t skip the warm pretzels with beer cheese!!

It’s also a great spot for larger groups and families. They have plenty of space, options for kids, and fun table games to keep everyone entertained. You can feel how much care went into bringing this place back, and it shows in both the food and the vibe.

So grateful to have this brewery back in town — can’t recommend it enough! 🍻

Everything is nice and new. Bit minimalistic but reasonable selection of beers and food. Music was bit too loud, otherwise nice little brewery

We were visiting Ludlow VT and was googling to find the closest brewery and found outer limits . Ofcourse , Google had a 4.8 star review and we had no second thoughts and went here . It was a very short drive and the parking facilities were good .. the interiors and seating were good too. Lots of space inside to sit and drink. Service was good, and the waitress was always smiling and took care of us well.

Being a brewery one thing that surprised me was they just had one IPA on the tap.. just one IPA.. can you believe it? I was eager and waiting to drink a home grown New England/Vermont IPA but all we had there was one variety… it was a hazy IPA and don’t get me wrong. It tasted really well… but I wish they had more options. They also had a wheat ale and some wine varieties…. Even in the food front, the menu was limited and less options.. We ordered chicken wings, and it was ok. Sauce was a bit sweet .. one of the sauces was really good and spicy.. bbq sauce was awesome and hottttttt/spicy . Overall, it fell short of my expectation and wish they had more food and drink options.. 3 stars … ⭐️⭐️⭐️

My wife and I always find breweries to visit as we travel. We went to Outer Limits brewing after arriving in Vermont. While there we learned they were flooded in 2023, and had just completed the rebuild. The new building is gorgeous and the atmosphere is perfect for a brewery. The beers available at this time are solid, and the food offerings are delish.

The brewery has done a fantastic job of re-opening the tasting room after the 2023 flood. The 2nd floor bar and restaurant is awesome. LOVE the Detroit-style pizza. as of mid-July, they are contract brewing four varieties: Light Speed (Helles Lager), High Frequency (Hefeweizen), an IPA and a Sour. All four were great, even the sour. Let's hope the place stays dry!

They've just reopened for the season. After some serious flooding last summer that affected operations, they're ramping up beer production with some "out of this world" pours. A pit stop complete with good people, great food, and some tasty brews. A must stop.
