The Rochester Cafe & Country Store has been on my list to check out for a while! I finally stopped in and had a wonderful Mocha with a mountain of whipped cream! Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

Showed up with a very large group of cyclists in the middle of a weekday and they were very accommodating

Waited an hour and a half before we got served. And they gave my 17 year old a kids meal when asked for a big meal
Perfect stop for a break while transiting Vermont Route 100 Scenic byway south to north on my motorcycle. Terrific food (mango iced tea with turkey sandwich and homemade potato chips for me); wonderful service: friendly and efficient without being rushed; and wi-fi and electrical plugs for recharging phones and refreshing Googlemaps were very welcome bonus features. Sitting outside in the shade on the veranda made this stop absolutely perfect!

While this looked like a very cute place to grab a bite, we stood at the counter so long to buy merchandise and were ignored that we chose not to order drinks here and instead went across the street.

Great service. Fantastic food and an amazing milkshake The Maple Leaf.
And has vegetarian options too!
We came here a couple of times on our way through VT. Good spot for some good food! Food was fine, but just nothing spectacular. (We felt it was a little expensive for what we got). Staff was kind and attentive. They have indoor/ outdoor seating as well as a cute shop to buy local goods and treats.
Stopped in after my husband and I stayed at the Beaver pond treehouse overnight. The breakfast food was delicious! The sourdough french toast tastes just like the kind my mother used to make when I was a kid. Definitely a must try!

Good food
Very nice place! Old and quaint building, decorated comparable to a Cracker Barrel but cooler! The waitress was real good, food and drinks were amazing! The whole place had a small town charm about it, coworkers chatting like true friends, everybody very friendly. And the store part had some cool little things, locally made stuff, maple syrup, etc… We’ll just say, if you’re traveling through the area or vacationing like we did, definitely stop in!
Food was absolutely delicious and customer service was 10 out of 10!! If you’re ever in Rochester check them out!highly recommend!!!
That maple crème pie… wow!
