We came here a couple of times on our way through VT. Good spot for some good food! Food was fine, but just nothing spectacular. (We felt it was a little expensive for what we got). Staff was kind and attentive. They have indoor/ outdoor seating as well as a cute shop to buy local goods and treats.
Stopped in after my husband and I stayed at the Beaver pond treehouse overnight. The breakfast food was delicious! The sourdough french toast tastes just like the kind my mother used to make when I was a kid. Definitely a must try!
Good food
Very nice place! Old and quaint building, decorated comparable to a Cracker Barrel but cooler! The waitress was real good, food and drinks were amazing! The whole place had a small town charm about it, coworkers chatting like true friends, everybody very friendly. And the store part had some cool little things, locally made stuff, maple syrup, etc… We’ll just say, if you’re traveling through the area or vacationing like we did, definitely stop in!
Food was absolutely delicious and customer service was 10 out of 10!! If you’re ever in Rochester check them out!highly recommend!!!

Love love love this place! My sister and I went here for breakfast during our Vermont road trip and it was hands down the best food we had. We wanted a classic and yummy breakfast, and that’s exactly what we got! We both got the French toast with a side of bacon and coffee. They seated us immediately, our server was so sweet, and the atmosphere was great. I’d recommend this place to anybody! Such a hidden gem <3

Was in desperate need of coffee traveling to Stowe and happened to drive past the Cafe so decided to stop. Was pleasantly surprised with the best latte (maple of course) I've had since being in VT.

This was definitely a diamond in the rough. We drove around this area forever looking for a place like this! Not only did it complete our search...the food and the very professional and nice service was over the top!
Thank you to your whole staff!

We only stopped briefly for a drink and asked if we could sit inside if we just wanted a drink, they said it wasn't a problem but apparently it was because we were treated very curtly. It was also unpleasant that the guests were loudly gossiped about behind the counter. That makes you feel uncomfortable. The coffee had a lot of acid, the iced tea was good. The two stars go to the colleague from the kitchen who gave us her recommendation for hiking routes. Despite everything, we gave a lot of advice and recommend remembering that customers have ears.
