I love this place!
First Branch is a quaint little coffee shop nestled in downtown South Royalton. They offer a nice variety of delicious coffee and baked goods.
The vibe is warm, and inviting. The staff is super friendly. Prices are reasonable.
If you happen to be in the area I highly recommend stopping by First Branch. You will be glad you did.

Stopped in on Labor Day on our drive back to the Hudson Valley. Service was fast, there was plenty of seating, bathrooms were clean, and the decor was nice. Loved the vegan lemon pistachio cake!

The help behind the counter was so patient with us. We are from Maine and we're a little lost. Thank you for good service.

Very good oat Maple latte. They were doing some kind of Old Music thing where people were playing violins and guitars.

Brought my coffee loving Australian parents to first branch and it is safe to say it is the best coffee they have had in the whole of the US. Vanilla cardamom latte was incredible and the matcha was perfect. Thank you all so much!

This is a roaster/coffee shop, with rustic vibe. The latte was well made: smooth and rich. There was a constant small queue of patron efficiently served by the barista. Worth a diversion off i89.

I want to love the place, I really do but⦠service is almost always very slow and not usually (not always) very personable. The pastry and ātidbitā selection is a little limited. The coffee..that is the problem. The last 6 of 7 times it has been cold- lukewarm at best. I have bought the beans (expensive beans) and they really lacked the richness expected for that roast and price. I wish them all the best but I donāt plan on stopping for a while. Iām sure Iāll give it another try at some point; I hope itās better.

A great way to start a Friday! Yummy maple latte and a mocha for Jordan, both with a shot of CBD. Friendly staff. Artistic barista!

Best maple latte ive ever had i think I see this every time I try a maple latte in Vermont but this one is seriously exceptional. The coffee is the epitome of smooth. The croissants looks but pack butter flavour chew and crisp and wisp. Its really really good, try one.
The egg and cheese on a biscuit is very biscuit heavy, luckily the biscuit is sooo delicious and moist and easy to eat. Try one with hot sauce.
They offer a variety of tea that you don't usually find in a coffee shop: genmaicha and hojicha
