Ordered a matcha latte with Cardmom and it was one of the most delicious matcha I have had in a while. The place had a lot of different flavors of both tea and coffee. The lady who made my matcha was very sweet and made me a gorgeous matcha!

IF there was an apocalypse and our capitalist economy decided to churn for one more day AND that day was a Thursday, I would have my last consumer purchase be a breakfast sandwich and an iced brown sugar oat milk latte from this establishment. I am of the opinion that breakfast sandwiches are one of life's greatest pleasures, and as such, have consumed many, but NONE as good as this one. Warm, buttery biscuit, some sort of cheese that works perfectly with the egg and bacon? Can't do better, truly. Don't be fooled--they only usually have them on Thursdays, but they are a true delicacy. Favorite day of the week. I also happen to be a Lorelai Gilmore-level coffee consumer, and am pretty picky when it comes to my brews. Any medium roast they have? Impeccable. The lattes always come out that rich brown reddish color, just enough espresso, just enough milk, not too sweet. Another thing--they take their time making the drinks. You might wait a second longer, but you know you'll get your money's worth. Best coffee shop in VT, woman-owned. Support this fantastic local business in idyllic SoRo. :)

Great coffee spot!!! The ambiance is super chill and aesthetic. Coffee and drinks are great. They have some delicious pastries as well - some of the best gluten free cookies I've had! Baristas were very friendly and sweet. I'd absolutely come back!

Best espresso in Upper Valley (if SoRo can be considered Upper Valley! Friendly service, cool spot. Def worth a 20 minute drive, and you can do all your grocery shopping at the well-stocked Co-op next door!

Lauren, the owner, and everyone who works at First Branch, welcome patrons with warmth and kindness (even our dog, who is spoiled with treats). The coffee drinks are excellent, as is their matcha, and it's a fantastic spot to hang out and socialize, work, or get a drink to-go. I got off the highway specifically to come support this independent coffee place. Charging someone an extra dollar to put a little bit of oat milk into a small cold brew coffee is pretty excessive.

We stopped at this coffee shop on our way back from a snowboarding trip in Vermont. My husband got an espresso and I got a vanilla latte. We were both pleasantly surprised by how good their coffee was! Usually when I get a latte I find it to be too milky with not enough coffee taste, this place had the perfect balance! The espresso was dark and strong. I also got the pistachio cake which I would get again a thousand times. Honestly I wish I had a place this good closer to our home in Jersey! Highly recommend.
