I placed my order at 5:45 pm, and the app said it would be ready for pickup by 6:05 at the latest. When I arrived, it was extremely busy and my order was NOT ready, even though the app said it was ready and I could come pick it up.
Okay, it’s Christmas, I get it.
I waited about 10 minutes and then asked when my order would actually be ready. The server told me it would be about 30 more minutes. Fine — but why say in the app that the order is ready? I could’ve come later if the time was communicated honestly.
After waiting those 30 minutes, I checked again — still not ready. The server said my order was “third in line” and would be started soon, but then added that if it wasn’t made within 5 minutes, my order would be automatically canceled and they wouldn’t be able to do anything about it.
Excuse me… what? So if I hadn’t come up and asked, my order would’ve just been canceled while I was sitting there waiting?
She then said she could manually reprint my ticket and send it to the kitchen, but it would go to the back of the line because they prioritize dine-in customers over pickup orders. Is this a joke? I paid the same full price — I just wanted to take my food home and eat it in bed. Why should pickup customers wait longer than everyone else? That feels unfair and ridiculous.
Eventually, after I complained, she asked the kitchen to make my order. I finally got it and left.
When I got home, I realized my sides were wrong — instead of mac and cheese and fries, I got broccoli I didn’t order. The meat was also completely overcooked and smelled like old burnt oil. It was awful.
I waited an entire hour for this order, sitting on a bench by the entrance in my jacket.
Terrible experience. The worst $30 I’ve ever spent. I honestly would’ve been better off eating chips for dinner.

I am literally in this restaurant right now, and have been waiting for 50 minutes already for my online order! This order was actually made two hours ago! Absolutely will blackout Denny’s !!!

For the first time in 2 years the food was all perfect. Crispy bacon as requested. Red skin potatoes salted just right. French fries were cooked just right too. Chicken sandwich was done perfectly, veggies were nice and fresh. The service was also very kind and attentive to any needs and came to check on if we needed anything. Dennys in rutland can go back on my list of favorites. It hasn't been there since they did the remodel.

Most of the servers are usually very nice. The place feels understaffed and the food can be pretty slow to come out. Would still recommend it though, just a heads up if you're on a tight schedule.

Food was disgusting. I ordered salmon with potatoes and berries. My berries were fermented and tasted like straight alcohol. I barely got any potatoes. My salmon was dry and the woman was rude when I picked it up.

We are visiting for the weekend we were tired and hungry for dinner. We were seated right away the food was tasty and our server, Jasmine, was exceptional! She was friendly, polite, and attentive. Our family left full and happy and I highly recommend this location!

Came around midnight. Ashley was our server. She only has been here 3 days, but it’s been some of the best service I’ve received in a long time from this location. The chef went above and beyond to check if they had something in stock, but suggested a better option when he realized they were out.

I had shown up a few days ago to hopefully get some food after being outside all day working on my house and as I was waiting for my food the entire store erupted… the manager was yelling, the cooks were yelling, even the waiters were yelling, and there was lots of cussing and unprofessionalism. I was waiting on a burger and some french fries. I then received a borderline RAW burger with COLD cheese, and GREASY french fries. I was EXTREMELY DISGUSTED by how everything took place and I with a COUNTLESS amount of people walk out of the store to escape this HORRIBLE experience. I will NEVER be walking into this Dennys again. -1/5 stars if I was able to rate that.

The food was horrible. I generally get the Classic Combo. Never again..... There were 4 pieces of chicken, say the size of a marble, not a boulder either....The cheeses sticks were not cooked through, neither the french fries.... So disappointed !!!
