Ground Round Rutland

This place has been closed for awhile. It was just okay when it was here, only for a short time. It used to be a Ponderosa which was awesome and we miss very much.

It was pretty good and the price was fair

Food is great, especially the French onion soup! Good prices. I can always make a second meal from what I get. Our waitress, Diana, was phenomenal, as always! Johnny and his crew are always hospitable and accommodating! They're also always willing to help out in the community. My favorite place to go in Rutland!

Good food here. The sirloin tips were very nice (the ones that come with one side) and I really liked the presentation that they came in. They come in a cat iron plate and the sauce is still boiling when it comes out. Nice presentation and the steak was very good. The vegtetables on the plate were not the best, since they were a bit too undercooked for me. Our waiter was also very nice. Overall, the restaurant was very nice.

Absolutely excellent service. I love the decor in the lounge and all the TVs . It was a super busy night on Sunday night. Janine our server. I had the triple fajita my husband had the steak burrito. It was so good..Janine was great. She had us laughing the whole time . Seems like that they have great team working there. It looked ike the manager is totaly hands on helping deliver food. Everyone was very friendly. We will definitely be back this weekend

Great food, cooked as requested. Sizzling beef tips and veggies ... perfect! House salad so fresh and tasty. So happy we stopped in again! Excellent every time from the moment we walk in til we leave. Awesome people!

Staying across the road at the Hampton Inn and they recommended your restaurant advising us you were open till 11. We sat in the lounge. Server /Bartender-came over and the first thing she says is we will be closing early tonight if your ordering food i would like to put it in. First off the sign says open till 11.We literally arrived at 9:15 . Management was no where to be found so we could have a chat with them, I know my management team is out in the Dining room and talking to my guest. Just want the owners to know about their Bartender of what she is saying to your customers. We did enjoy the nice local beer choices you offer.

Good food. Had the Reuben. Reasonable price. Waitress was very nice

Great food, decently priced for the portions you get. Took about 30 min to get food from the time we walked threw the door. Floor was covered with small pieces of straw wrappers, only reason they dont get a 5 star.

Absolutely has become one of our go to restaurants. We have had nothing but great service, accurate order delivery and timely meals. The food is excellent. Love the sizzling Fajitas! They're delicious. My wife loves the $4 Margarita night and our kids have excellent options as well. From the hostess, service, staff and all the way to owner everyone was extremely pleasant and you could tell they were there to serve and provide a great service. Good place to bring the kiddos or would definitely make a nice date night. Especially with the sunset facing the Western seen out of the bar windows. Very pleased with this establishment and happy it's in our area. Thank you GR!

Good service good food! Ate at the bar. They have TV's sprots and just a really nice place to eat. Handicap friendly

outstanding service and very cozy booth seats.

This establishment can be very inconsistent; new person on the bar was not welled trained. My taco bowl was mostly lettuce spread out on a plate with chips in a bowl on the side. Did not have my beer in stock. It is a real hit or miss place; it’s a roll of the dice experience.

I had the quesadilla burger and it was great. It was trivia night but unfortunately we could not stay....... next visit we will. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Good meal. Decent prices for going out to eat. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is because my sister's steak was tough! Besides that, everything was great!
