I noticed this place driving by last week for work, and decided to stop in for lunch on my way through for work this week. Had the Brisket Sandwich and the French Onion Soup, both were amazing!!! The brisket was no doubt better than what I got from Dinosaur Bar-B-Que in Troy, NY the night before. Love this place and intend to stop again in the future. Fast and friendly service as well!
While driving up north in VT, I could smell the food at Hotty's on my way up and on the way back made sure to stop. I ordered one of the specials from the chalkboard: Cheeseburger and Tall Fries. The cheeseburger was like 3 small hamburgers squished together with melted American cheese. The fries were real potatoes with the skins on, slightly crunchy and almost no greasy feel left on your fingers. The chef, Nick, was very friendly and made sure I had everything I needed....
First time and definitely won't be the last. Brisket and pulled pork mac & cheese was awesome. Some of the most tender brisket I have ever had. Big portions for the price too. There's enough for 2 meals in each one. It's great to have good food in Wallingford once again. Thank you for opening your doors here!
