Two years ago, I gave a really good review when I was in town at st Albans I am in town. I stopped for breakfast expecting the best things have changed the waitress and cook looked dirty and like they might be using drugs I just got up and left. I was very disappointed there before in the past and enjoyed it. I’m sorry to give this bad review

Service was horrible. Waitress was clearly very unhappy, no enthusiasm. Stopped for breakfast at 8:30am. Only 3 other tables, waited over half an hour for our food (2 of us) and the food was very bland. Had to ask for a refill on coffee as she wouldn’t even walk by us for 20 minutes. Will not be coming back.

Sadly we had to turn our backs on GME and the best flapjacks we've ever eaten anywhere. After our 4 last visits on sunday mornings-with an HOUR WAIT each time- we gave it one more chance- because the flapjacks have always been worth the wait. Got there and it was half empty...ONE gallant waitress....One senior slowly "bussing" tables without a tray or bin. Quick cup of coffee came- but no refills until we were told we were next- again, an HOUR LATER. Well I've never taken food out of my mouth, but I took the piece of flapjack out because it was cold ,raw, and tasted moldy....really disgusting. We told the waitress that both our flapjacks were inedible and she was very understanding and appologetic and said they were "trying a new recipe". Needless to say ,we won't be going back....and we'll miss those great flapjacks for sure!

Stopped for breakfast passing through on a road trip. Nice staff, coffee came quick, and the food was delicious! Worth the stop, definitely marking on maps to come again next time we're in the area ♡

Wrong omelet to start, coffee cold, no flavor . no spice or salt added to anything. When I got the correct omelet it was burnt. same home fries and toast.

My potatoes were raw. My eggs were cold the sausages were pink not cooked enough, it was instant coffee, no refills Waitress friendly. Will never go again
My wife and I are here all the way from Toronto canada. Been coming here 40 years. Don’t know how I missed it all those years but finally stoped in for breakfast today. Beautiful, quaint little spot. Service was perfect! So friendly. Breakfast was great. Highly recommend it. It will now be our new breakfast cafe every summer!

Nice clean diner. Food is just fair, nothing great. Cook should wear a beard cover, got a short black hair in my home fries, it wasnt my wifes or mine. Potatos were dry and looked microwaved.

Don't waste your time or money. Food was dry, flavorless, and took FOREVER to arrive (there was only one other couple in the restaurant at the time, not busy at all). Our server was sweet, but that was the only positive. It ended up being a 51 dollar bill for myself and my 2 kids... nobody got anything excessive. We will certainly never be back
