The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. The food was good, but not great for me. The best thing was the maple cream cake—now this, was AMAZING! I’d come back if I’m ever back in Vermont.

Our party of 4 arrived without a reservation, yet we were greeted like celebrities and encouraged to give them 30 minutes to prepare a table for us, knowing we only came for dessert and coffee. When we returned to be seated, we were so impressed with the aroma that we ordered 2nd dinner (you only live once), dessert, and coffee. The owner visited our table to share the recipe for one of the desserts that I was raving about. If we ever visit Vermont in the future, we plan to return...

We reserved a table for six for 7:30pm on Sat 5th Oct, 2024. When we arrived we had a table by the window facing Main St. The atmosphere was great: low lights, old tin ceilings, and period furniture. We had all just completed a 40 mile cycle on the Lemoile Valley Rail Trail and so we were extremely hungry. For starters, we ordered P.E.I. mussels and clam chowder.
