Mimmo's Pizzeria & Restaurant - St. Albans

Walked in during a rush, so some things could be excused, but upon arriving I noticed a guy working on the dough without gloves. Went on for over 20 or so mins before bringing it up to a waitress. Waitress then proceeded to tell the guy and nothing happened, no change.

Take Out Experience

Finally tried Mimmo’s after hearing great reviews and I’m glad we did. The grilled chicken salad was the freshest I’ve ever had, with perfectly seasoned, juicy chicken. Our group also enjoyed a meatball calzone, balsamic chicken, and pepperoni pizza. Even after a 30-minute drive home and reheating, everything was still bursting with flavor. Fresh, delicious, and made with care. Everyone was happy, and we can’t wait to go back!

Saw 3 different servers come out 5 times, wasn’t serviced at all for 25min after being sit outside. There’s only 5 of us out here and they couldn’t or wouldn’t look at my direction. When there’s one person, don’t make it obvious. And by the way, I guess there food that they got and finished before I was even asked for a drink, guess it was more important lol. I love mimmos but not to sure about the staff.

As always great food and service. Their eggplant parm is incredible. Dinner with a side salad was around $23, but I have enough pasta left for 2 lunches!

Clearly had some staffing issues, but it took 20 minutes to get our orders in, never brought out our drinks, mozzarella sticks were not cooked all the way through. The pizza was good though.

We live within walking distance of Mimmo's, so when there is a special occasion (birthday, etc) we order online and pickup our food. Whenever we order, it is usually for 5 people and the food is always hot and fresh! One of us is Gluten-Free and enjoys the GF pizza immensely! Thank you for your varied offerings and being a mainstay in our community here in St. Albans.

Well priced mid tier pizza and Italian food. The meatball sub is pretty great. The wait staff are friendly and attentive. The restaurant is hot and the booths are pretty uncomfortable though. Outdoor seating is just on the sidewalk next to a very busy main Rd. It's pretty unpleasant.

Great place to order from. Usually get delivery from time to time. I love the salads they offer. Delivery driver is very polite and always friendly.

I thought your penne alla vodka was especially good! I saw one of mimmos most awesome and steady people... good to see him! Am anxious to explore the menu more. Overall experience.... unearthly in its awesomeness!!

Great pizza and salad. Best in St Albans in my opinion.

Visiting from across the country and was disappointed with the service and waiter. Ordered 3 pasta dishes and garlic bread to go with each meal. When the garlic bread was not delivered and we were half way done with our pasta I got the attention of the waiter who assured us it was coming. When a table across from us who had arrived well after us got their garlic bread, I called over a waitress to check on ours. She never returned, our waiter never returned so I got up, found our waiter to inquire about the garlic bread. In a very rude manner he told me he could just cancel the order and they can only make so much garlic bread at a time. I did speak with the manager who although was nice and comped one of our meals seemed to think that because the restaurant was so busy this was more or less acceptable. Nothing about this situation was acceptable in my book. An apology from the waiter would have been nice.
None of our meals were finished as they got cold. Because we were traveling it was useless to take the leftovers with us.

My husband and I went for lunch. It wasn't busy at all. Less than 15 patrons. We ordered a pasta dish, small steak and cheese sandwiche and an order of calamari. We waited 20 minutes or so and the calamari came. It was hard as a rock and sent it back. We waited about another half hour and the rest of the food came. My husband said his pasta didn't taste right. I tried it and the sauce tasted burnt. It was so strong the burnt flavor was through everything. I tried my sandwich and some of the meat was burnt as we're the peppers. They also charge $2.75 for bottled soda but you get a fountain soda. Between the wait time and the terrible food I don't know how their making it. Never again.
