Red House Sweets is exceptional. Some of the best breakfast food we've had in awhile. The quiches were amazing, and the sweeter treats were also to die for! It was honestly hard to choose because everything looked so good and there was such a a variety. Wonderful that it was connected to Catalyst Coffee as well. If you are ever in St. Albans, make sure you get here. You won't regret it!!

This is my favorite bakery OF ALL TIME!! I bakery/coffee shop hop a lot and this one takes the cake. The food is incredible, whether you are eating in or taking out! My go-to is one of the many flavors of quiche, with a maple cinnamon bun! My husband' is obsessed with the maple cheesecake and the chocolate and cashew tart. ALL so good! But I have made so many different mouth-watering choice over my time spent here and it is all absolutely incredible.
And then there is the staff!! Maddy is the single kindest and warmest human being in all the land. I have never once been met with anything but a huge smile and a chipper "Hello!" They are excellent at their job and truly go the extra mile, heating up items to eat there and even walking them over to the attached coffee shop (Catalyst Coffee Bar, see my wonderful review about them too!!) for me.
When I dine here, I feel so welcome and taken care of. I will keep coming back forever and always! The cozy wingback chairs next to the window have my name on it while I do my classwork, or work on a project for work (see my picture of me creating a flannel board piece for storytime while I eat my fav quiche, haha)!!
Now.... breakfast sandwiches? ;)
Parking: Usually easy to find a spot within a block or so. Two hours free ;parking on the street!

How in the world does this place only have 100 reviews?
My friend lives nearby and knew I had to check this place out when I came to visit. She was totally right.
The selection of pastries, pies, cakes, quiches, and other baked goods was amazing! However, she said I HAD to have the breakfast galette since they don't have them every day and sell out pretty quick.
The galette was not only delicious but a MONSTER as well. It's filled with potatoes, onions, peppers, and topped with an egg. The crust was nice and crunchy on the outside too. I was absolutely stuffed after having one.
I only wish I lived closer so I could try all of their goodies!

Adorable space, very friendly staff, great food options which had excellent flavor, though the maple cheesecake would be better slightly less cold, it was almost frozen on the inside. My biggest complaint that dropped it in stars was no prices are listed. I hate it when you can't see pricing on things you want to buy. They make you ask to know each option! If you list prices, I'll update to 5 stars.

Best bakery in town! Granted, it’s the only bakery in town. But seriously, their egg and cheese croissants are so to die for. These things are so good they'll make you rethink every sad breakfast sandwich you've ever had.
The service? Super friendly. It's like they actually want you there, which is a nice change of pace. And the options? Yummy across the board. Everything they bake is a little slice of heaven.
So, if you’re in the area and craving something delicious, do yourself a favor and hit up this bakery. Your taste buds will thank you.

Red house sweets has not only the best pastries in town, they also have some of the very kindest employees. I’m not sure why the question “can I warm this up for you?” feels like a luxurious offer, but it really really does! A quiet corner to enjoy my warm pastry, delivered to me with a smile makes this busy working mom incredibly grateful this special business is thriving in my town!
