Peace Out

Disappointed for the first time. Usually a big fan of Archie's. Hopefully just having a bad day and not going on the cheap like others. Both burgers were under cooked and didn't seem like the usual high quality. Also thinner than usual....going on the cheap?? Asked for no tomatoes...got tomatoes. Fries were burnt. They did give us a new batch. Our bill was $72 for a party of three. We expected better.

Last summer, my daughter and I were passing through the area, and thought of giving your establishment a chance. Our experience could of been better. As we were first time customers, we felt rushed while making a decision on your menu. At the time your restaurant was not busy, and the person at the counter taking our order could of been more courteous and accommodating. Your menu options are over engineered, and dose all your burgers have to have maple syrup on it?
Not everyone is from Vermont, likes maple syrup and worship the Maple God. It would be nice if you offer some basic options. Your establishment might do well with the locals, but with this traveler I was disappointed.

We keep trying this place and end up disappointed evey time. The first time we got take out the there was a hair in my food. The second time my food was cold. The third time was super frustrating to eat my food. I get the gluten free bun which is very crumbley and I end up having to eat with a fork. The plate they give you is not actually a plate but a large holed basket and my food got the paper soggy then it would fall through the basket onto the table from trying to pick it up with a fork and ended up wasting half of the food. This last time we dined in and it was taking forever. They brought us their homemade chips, I'm assuming becasue it was taking so long. They didn't tell us there was cheese on them and one of the people in my party is lactose intolerant and now suffering from a stomach ache after eating a handful before we realized. Then 50 minutes later we decided to leave and get a refund. There was not many people im front of us and I really don't understand why it takes so long to cook fried food. We were sitting next to the kitchen and there was just a bunch of confused teenagers cooking the food, so that might explain it. Really unimpressed and definitely not returning after trying to give them a chance over and over. Jokes on us I guess, we probably should have given up after the second failed attempt. IF YOU HAVE A DAIRY ALLERGY DO NOT GET THE CHIPS! IT DOES NOT SAY THERE'S CHEESE ON THEM ON THE LABEL!

They must have different owners in the new owners are mean they're not very nice at all we got yelled at a few times for bringing food back that was wrong for example I ordered a fish sandwich and they put mushroom I didn't order it that way my girlfriend ordered a double burger and said no crumbles on it plus the roll was soggy we got yelled at it was our third time up there they were going to give her another roll we've been there before we never had a problem with people were friendly I suggest people boycotted something has definitely changed there I will not be go going back there plus I got the crispy chicken sandwich that was sick at night

This place hits the spot! All of our food was super good, definitely one of the best we had while in VT. The maple wings are extremely good (wish they bottled that sauce!). Sweet with a hint of spice and the chicken wings themselves were divine. The burgers were scrumptious and cooked to perfection. I was pleasantly surprised to see they had beer on tap! The dark breakfast stout was super good and paired well with my burger. Perfect place to go after the museum up the street!

Stopped in for an early dinner. Ordered the Archie’s burger with some changes which was challenging for them to figure out how to order it and the steak salad. Burger was inconsistently cooked- medium on one side and well done on the other. Salad had one piece of blue cheese. One staff person was very friendly the rest not so much.
