We had plans of stopping at a walk in establishment for dinner before previewing the Shelburne Museum lights and it’s was a busy evening, so after trying 2 other locals spots, we stumbled upon Cucina Antica! They were also full with reservations, but had 3 spots at the bar. We had our 2 year old daughter with us and we were going to making it work between lap sitting and standing so she could have her own chair, because ya know—toddlers, but before we knew it they arrived...
My mom and I went to Cucina for dinner tonight and I was pleasantly surprised. I hadn’t been in years, and it’s just as great as I remembered. I ordered the bistro lasagna and it was absolutely incredible. The sauce and ingredients were perfect. My mom really enjoyed her small pizza and salad too. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

I had the sausage bolognese. The linguini was cooked to perfection. I have never cleared my plate of the leftover sauce, but besides being a good sauce, I didn’t want to miss a bit of the sausage and green peppers.The bread was steaming and absolutely delicious...
