I was at first charmed and hopeful by my first experience at Electra’s. But when given the choice of truffle French fries or regular I was not told of $4 extra fee.
The dessert we choose based on waitresss’ description would be chocolate mousse whipped cream and raspberry coulis on wafer crust. It was dry and there was no raspberry coulis. I questioned this and she spoke to chef and returned to tell me this is how it is made and gave option to change. What bothered me is that it says raspberry coulus on menu!
I’m visiting for my birthday and I just had a pretty upsetting experience. I put a note in the reservation that I was celebrating my birthday. My server was obviously paying more attention to everyone around the room except me. I came in, she gave me a menu and then walked away. I sat there for about 10 minutes before the manager himself had to come greet me and ask if I wanted to start off with something to drink—it took her quite a bit of time to ask me what I would like to order even after he served me my drink and informed me that she would be my server (mind you, the restaurant wasn’t packed whatsoever). Throughout the service, she wasn’t attentive to me at all. And, to add insult to injury, I couldn’t even get a scoop of ice cream with a candle to feel slightly special. I used to work in the service industry for years and I know that it’s standard to have a practice for people’s birthdays, and I wasn’t extended this courtesy whatsoever. The food was just okay. Overall pretty upsetting, as I’m on a solo vacation and simply wanted good vibes and experiences; but, her behavior and lack of care wasn’t a great way to end my day.

Very cute place with a great menu if you STICK to the prix fixe menu. Otherwise, it's not worth it, in my opinion. Drinks were fantastic, light but flavorful.

We arrived ten minutes prior to our reservation and were seated immediately. The decor was very tasteful, the place was lively but not noisy. The waitstaff gave us cocktail menus and took our drink orders. We chatted for about fifteen minutes before placing our food orders. About ten minutes later, two of our four drinks arrived. Then our food arrived. The four entrees ordered were duck, scallops, steak and gnocchi. They were all beautifully plated, unique, and delicious. About halfway through the meal, the other two cocktails arrived. Mine, a gin fizz, was amazing. I had the duck, with spinach, nectarines, cherries, and grapes, with a bacon waffle. I finished every last bit and savored every bite. The four of us shared two desserts, a chocolate mouse with whipped cream that was very good, rich and not overly sweet; and a peach cobbler, of which I only had a taste. It was good, but too hot, so I left it for others. Electra may have just replaced Honey Road as my favorite restaurant in the area.
Parking: There was a party so the lot was full. Parking on the street was easy.

We sat at the bar. Service was great. Food was outstanding.
It's a bit of a haul from Central Vt, but we'll be back soon!
[Duck Frites an old favorite of mine are mouthwatering, and a very shareable app!]

My daughter and I went for a late dinner and had one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. The staff was exceptionally attentive, and the food exceeded our expectations. The Truffled Squash Blossom dish was wonderful and has become one of my favorite summer treats. I was thrilled to see it on the menu! My daughter, the poutine connoisseur, declared it one of the best she has ever had. We shared the filet mignon, which came with the most delicious lobster sweet roll. My only suggestion is to make that lobster roll its own dish—it was so wonderful. Additionally, the ambiance and atmosphere were beautifully appointed and cozy. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

The quality-to-price ratio is not favorable, particularly compared to the plethora of other options in the area. We love Leunig’s and had high expectations for Electra’s; they were decidedly not met.

I love Electra. Good food, excellent service. I dine alone, usually at Electra's. Everyone is very nice, the staff is super good and the food is the best.
I can't think of another restaurant around a 30-mile radius that I would go to.
I love the food. Not only is it a feast for the palate and taste buds, but it is a feast for the eyes.
The presentation are beautiful. When the plate comes out, it is a work of art.
