I’m visiting for my birthday and I just had a pretty upsetting experience. I put a note in the reservation that I was celebrating my birthday. My server was obviously paying more attention to everyone around the room except me. I came in, she gave me a menu and then walked away. I sat there for about 10 minutes before the manager himself had to come greet me and ask if I wanted to start off with something to drink—it took her quite a bit of time to ask me what I would like...
We arrived ten minutes prior to our reservation and were seated immediately. The decor was very tasteful, the place was lively but not noisy. The waitstaff gave us cocktail menus and took our drink orders. We chatted for about fifteen minutes before placing our food orders. About ten minutes later, two of our four drinks arrived. Then our food arrived. The four entrees ordered were duck, scallops, steak and gnocchi. They were all beautifully plated, unique, and delicious....
