My husband and I went to The Friendly Toast in downtown Burlington the morning of our 8-year wedding anniversary, and Taylor happened to be our waitress she was not only friendly and attentive but extremely excited to celebrate with us our anniversary and make a great experience for brunch. I’ve been in Vermont for 10 years and this is some of the best food I’ve had here. everything from the caesar salad to the cocktails to the entrees were exceptional and for a quite reasonable price with the prix fixe twilight dinner (I can’t believe the wagyu steak is included in that deal, its phenomenal). service was lovely. the only downside (which is obviously so minor) is that the decor/atmosphere/ambience feel super dated, poor lighting.
