Quintessential Vermont diner experience! Family owned and run, most folks are regulars, and the prices are very reasonable. I got a huge and delicious club sandwich with home fries for $11.95. Their homemade cornbread is absolutely incredible!! They grill it up and serve it hot. Delicious.

Great little spot. We were visiting from Wisconsin and knew it would be good when the lot was full and it was all Vermont plates.
Excellent food and service. I had the chicken and waffles and it was delicious.

The food was fine for an okay diner. It was the only place open in the morning when we wanted to eat. The other restaurants opened later. I did have shells in my egg whites. My husband said the blueberry short stack was okay,. Nothing special. The servers were very personable and accommodating. The waiting area was crowded and it seems like a couple more tables could fit in the dining room. But there's "stuff" behind the counter. Overall, a fine experience.

Incredible eggs Benedict. There’s always an amazing soup of the day. Very friendly people. Better if the iced tea has free refills according to the menu.

The line was so long waiting that I gave up and left???
The Dutch Mill had an extensive menu especially the breakfast. They also have many specials and prices are reasonable. Food is always great along with the great service.

My partner and I visited today for our breakfast and had an okay experience. Here are our thoughts.
Items ordered: Breakfast burrito, Jack Gouger Benedict
Pros:
- Quick and friendly service
- Good flavor on both the burrito and Benedict
- Tasty, well seasoned and cooked homefries
- Sausage gravy was flavorful
Cons:
- Poached eggs were overcooked on the inside. Was expecting a nice, runny egg, which was disappointing
- Breakfast burrito was greasy, had some brown lettuce and lacked a decent amount of meat
- Specials are on the pricier sider
- Space is very small
Overall:
The Dutch Mill is a pretty average diner experience. There are some cool specials and good flavors, but nothing to write home about. I would come again if I was passing through and needed breakfast, but wouldn't go out of my way to come back. Also, try to arrive before 10-10:30, as it got busy right after we walked in around 9:45.

Absolutely by far the 3 egg omelet with potatoes I have ever had. Hubby said the tuna melt was delicious. Uncle said patty melt was really good, aunt ordered her burger medium but it came out well done and dry. The history was really neat to read all about it and the staff was very friendly.

I always enjoy eating breakfast at the Dutch Mill. The staff is very friendly and the food is good. My only "criticism" would be that it is always packed when we go so we have to wait.
