The breakfast burrito was delicious. Piping hot and so full. This place is worth the wait. And the 4 hour drive to get there

5-star roadside dinner experience. On our way from Middlebury to Burlington, we wanted a good breakfast. Dutch Mill Diner did not disappoint us. Terrific breakfast reasonably priced. My husband said that his corn beef hash was one of best, and my breakfast sandwich was tasty!

Home fries were burnt and flavorless. Eggs were also flavorless. Pancake was thin yet felt undercooked/flour-y? Place is rundown. Not sure why it has such great reviews.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Our family of 5 really enjoyed our breakfast here. We had a short wait to be seated, but once we were seated service was super fast and attentive. The food was excellent. We had omelets, eggs and hash, and chocolate chip cookie dough pancakes. Rave reviews from the entire table. We will definitely be back.

We were visiting from California. We found the food excellent and the service nice. The atmosphere is like a coffee shop. We arrived right at 7:30am and found a line forming so arrive early if possible.

Very much like going to gramma's house for a home-cooked meal. The hospitality is top-notch and even though the small dining room of about 10 tables was packed, my husband and I were seated for brunch on a Sunday in about 5 minutes. Clearly this place is popular for the service and the food and not for the atmosphere... which, in my experience, atmosphere isn't a necessity for some good eats. We sat at the 2 seats at the bar and the view was a pile of old office equipment and clutter ever so slightly covered in dust, and a wall that has been tarnished by years of serving up some fried goodies. Again, the service made up for this. We had three different staff members wait on us during our time there - the coffee gal, the host, the waitress - all speeding around constantly tending to the needs of the patrons. The cooks whipped up our meals in less than 10 minutes! Eggs Benedict with the corned beef was a huge hit and my husband ate every bite of the giant plate! I had a veggie omelet which was a bit dry, a delicious buttered English muffin, homefries were perfect, and a side of bacon which was a bit thin (almost like mivrowave bacon) but cooked crunchy how I like it. Overall a very decent brunch to energize us for a day of exploring the area - we would go back!
