We had a great waitress, the restaurant was clean, the music was not too loud, and our food was wonderful.

First time at an Applebee’s. My partner finally stopped saying she wanted to go! The food was good, and the portion sizes were huge. The only downside was the service — it was a bit slow and felt off. The staff looked very tired. 🥱

The staff was absolutely horrible. We were told at arrival it would be about a 15 minute wait that they just had a bus of 60 people come in.. Upon entering there were not 60 people total in the dining room certainly not a group of 60. The waitress was horrible, very short with us and got orders wrong. I waited over 25 minutes for a second helping of the all you can eat chicken tenders and everyone else was finished eating. When I told her I wanted a to go container she said it wasn't allowed but she guesses she would bring me one anyway. Sorry I wanted to eat with my family not make them wait for me to eat because you didn't put the order in when I asked for more. We also had empty cups for quite some time waiting for her to return to the dining room. Never got the ketchup I asked for for my French fries. I asked for a bag on the way out and was offered a paper bag I said oh o don't want paper thank you anyway and the hostess rudely said well it's a bag.....

Except for the seating and the extremely slow time of day mid-afternoon, everything was as expected.

Perhaps the hostess never heard of seating single guests near the kitchen being a faux pas.I was seated next to the TV screen, facing the wall.

My server was engaging which was surprising.

Perhaps the hostess never understood that you don't only go out to eat, just to eat. Millennials!
