The hot bar and Sushi options are pretty good. The General Tso Boneless Tenders are addicting! Also, try the Cape Cod Frozen pizza. Sooo goood. The service is ok.

My boyfriend and I were shopping in this location on Saturday July 1st and we were very rudely approached by a woman cleaning the floor. She had screamed at myself and another customer while she was mopping. All she needed to do was ask us nicely to be careful walking. We are not children. Also, the wifi there at this location is absolutely horrendous and won't let you connect to their complimentary wifi either. Just a terrible experience. We were working for instacart at the time, so was extremely inconvenient to have to leave the store to check items needed. Please do better !

Poor customer service and very rude staff. The vibe in this place is horrible. I am not sure how they train their employees, but wow. Its not good.

The pharmacy is terrific, professional, and friendly, and they were able to work with me to get my second vaccine shot even though a scheduling error had sent me to the wrong Hannaford. I was in and out without issue

The manager, Brian Z. was incredibly rude and unprofessional to me. I came in and selected about $70 worth of groceries including some alcoholic margarita mix. When I handed him my ID he immediately said "no." I'm 22 years old and expressed to him that it was real. I had recently gotten a new ID and offered to show him my emails with my state government. He told he wouldn't take it anyways. I told him he could call the police to verify. He smugly still said no. The whole time he was talking extremely condescending and it was humiliating as there were several other customers and workers around. He seemed to be relishing in me getting more and more upset and ended it with "well I have the right to refuse and I'm not going to take it." I understand he was doing his job, but it didn't seem he was interested in verifying I was of age - it seemed he was on some weird power trip and was relishing in his power to veto me despite my multiple attempts to work with him to verify the validity of my ID. I decided that I could not, in good faith and with self-respect, spend my money after receiving rude treatment, so I cancelled the rest of my items. Brian then proceeded to complain (intentionally loudly so I would hear) to another customer and worker about how I wasn't going to purchase the rest of my groceries. I cried the entire ride home at how rude he was and embarrassing the experience was. It wasn't about the alcohol it was about basic human respect and customer service. He treated me like I was some sort of punk and was overall incredibly rude and unprofessional. Save me the power trip next time.

I like this Hannaford, it is well stocked and has everything for a thorough shopping trip. The parking is convenient. I think it could use a little pizzazz in it's curb appeal, but it is my go-to grocery store.

This store specializes in bait and switch. They routinely use very misleading signage. Sale prices are posted prominently in front of similar, but much higher priced items. Often the sale items are not in stock --even on the first day of a major sale. Incredibly rude staff. There are lots of far better places to get groceries in the area!

I was assisting a friend by stopping by Hannaford's Supermarket to pick up a cake for her 3 year old son's birthday party. He had participated in picking out the cake for his special day. I arrived at the store and the cake was not ready as the cake decorator was out of the store unexpectedly today. Carol Fortin working in the bakery did her best to assist. We did receive a cake with his name on it but not the decorating he had selected. She also provided me with a gift card in recognition of the mistake. I also told Kelsi in customer service that I thanked Carol for doing the best she could to quickly remedy the situation however this was a disappointment for a 3 year old child. To our complete surprise Hannaford's delivered a cake to party event and decorated as he selected! Carol, Kelsi and all staff who made this happen we sincerely thank you! I am a Hannaford's loyal customer and that is going to stay that way. Hannaford Supermarket you have staff members who represent the best customer service possible. That will retain your customers and grow your customer base! Carol, Kelsi and Team outstanding job!

I prefer Hannaford's. However I'm disabled and their electric carts desperately need to be replaced. They're never charged and slower than death. I've asked about it several times, and they just tell me that they won't replace them until the store gets remodeled. Seriously?? This means the store is inaccessible for people like me. I find myself going to Price Chopper or Shaw's instead of worrying that the cart will die halfway through the store - which has happened me a couple of times. Also, their employees need some education about helping disabled customers. I've had cashiers grab my cane out of my cart, I've even had to have a mini-wrestling match with one of them a few times. Here's a tip: for a disabled person, our canes, crutches, walkers, wheelchairs are like part of our bodies. Would you grab someone's leg without asking and receiving permission? I hope not. The same is true of mobility aids. If they don't improve their accessibility, I may switch over to a different store completely.

I have been a loyal Hannaford customer for more than 20 years. Recently I have become disappointed with my experiences at the registers. A few weeks ago I was being rung up by a front end supervisor. She had a conversation with the employee bagging and paid no attention to me. If this is the example set by a supervisor, what expectations are there for any employee? Yesterday I was approaching the registers. There were 2 registers and an express lane open. Each of the 2 registers had 3 or more customers in line. In the time it took me to check out (5 minutes) the lines weren't addressed. There were 3 employees in customer service, including the express cashier. The front end needs better attention and training.

Pretty typical Hannafords store, perhaps a bit smaller than average. Seems ok.

The South Burlington Hannaford is a fairly well-organized store. I do sometimes see lacking in meat selections. I've sensed this store has some run on ground beef every couple of months, usually when I'm looking for it. But the staff working here is very friendly and willing to help where they can. This store takes a bit of a novel approach to check out, they have a "single line" in a roped off section where an employee directs you to the next available checkout aisle. It seems to work really well. I've never had an overly long wait and never had to stand in line stuck way out into the main aisle of shoppers. It also has no "baggers", instead the checkout clerks do all the bagging on rotary bag stations (like in some express lanes of other stores). This also seems to work fairly efficiently although I'm sure the employees aren't thrilled of doing the job of 2 people all day long.
