Honestly, I was so blown away by my experience, in a very positive way. First, a very kind person behind the bar, next, a scrumptious, perfectly pulled cappuccino, then, a delicious bag of Costa Rica coffee beans, and just before walking away, I snagged the last breakfast burrito, all at the airport, no less, just before walking away to catch my flight. It isn’t often I am so blown away by seeing literally everything I wanted in that moment, served with a smile. It was two minutes later I realized I had somehow *gasp!* forgotten to tip them after such an awesome all around experience. I ran back waving some cash in my hand, looking in vain for the tip jar…in fact, there was inexplicably none, and that is when they told me they don’t accept tips, that they get paid to do what they loved and I swooned. I still threw the money at them, partly because I just couldn’t quite fully comprehend the audacity of such a thing (this coming from someone deeply entrenched in the hospitality industry).
All in all, I was BLOWN AWAY!
Thank you, Kestrel for showing such remarkable New England hospitality to this west coast guy.

Great drinks, great pastries! The barista was very friendly, and there was plenty of signage assuring you that you're headed in the right direction (the cafe takes some navigation to get to).

This Barista is any and everything you ever have wanted in a coffee shop. I had a terrible evening last night at a hotel that should have been 5 stars but turned out to be a nightmare, so when I came in I felt exhausted, frustrated, and under caffeinated. I advised my situation and asked which sandwich was their best one bc they were out of hot food. Mr. Barista advised a sandwich that was 10/10, and the expresso beverage that he delighted me with will not soon be forgotten. As ghetto as Burlington has become, it is nice to see that there are some places and people that still strive for excellence. 10/10. Cafe is clean, well maintained, scented in a most delectable way, and the service was superlative. Thank you, Mr. Barista- you made the 12 hour plane rides, crappy hotel, and ghetto Burlington worth the trip with your absolute magic.

They didn't have any coffee ready when I was there and all would take about 10 mins to make. Felt strange for 10 a.m. at a coffee shop that a latte was the quickest option.
Great local spot to grab an oat latte and the cranberry ginger scone.
I was thrilled they opened the location in South Burlington.

Racist owners that do not provide a merit based employment opportunity. If you have a white sounding name, you’ll get an opportunity to have an interview with him but because you’re black, you’re not allowed to work there my evidence for this is I made two indeed accounts one for white name, one with a black name and they gave a white one and interview and they didn’t select the black one even though it was overqualified. Four years of experience, two years of barista experience and four years of cooking. I think that’s overqualified for some coffee beans.
I spent many months in 2019 trying to find the best coffee place in the Burlington area, but when I walked in the doors of Tech Park for the first time I felt at home
Immediately. Johnny and Charlotte roast the best damn coffee in the world, and I’ll stick that claim to any major speciality roaster. They are the nicest people in the world, and Johnny gave me a tour of where they roast all the coffees. I’ve been a faithful votary since.

Outstanding customer service experience and coffee! I only had their Mexican blend drip coffee but it has an amazing flavor! The barista was also very nice to make a fresh pot for me without even asking! That really is above and beyond customer service! Will certainly be back!

My students and I went on a field trip to learn how coffee gets roasted and how to give great customer service! They were so welcoming and knowledgeable! Also very understanding of our students with disabilities!! Thank you Kestrel for all you did!
Kid-friendliness: So wonderful with our students with disabilities! They said many times that there would be loud noises, they weren’t very loud but they understood that it could be loud to our kids. So understanding and welcoming!
Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs

Their pastries were sold out at the South Burlington by the time of my arrival shortly before closing at 1PM, but the latte was excellent ! I looked through the large window at the buckets of green coffee beans next to a tall, strange apparatus with a large hose--the coffee roaster? The shop is deep inside the building, down a long hallway. The men's room, down another hallway, was high class!

Cute little space in the atrium of a building. It's a bit remote but perfect if you work in the area or are visiting the whale tails.

Unless you work in this building don’t go out of your way to come here. A much better option within 1/2 mile due north.
