Best food around de S.B
My father and I had an amazing lunch. The food was absolutely delicious and the presentation was amazing. Our server was delightful and did a wonderful job. The menu is vast and I am so disappointed that I am moving out of state and will not be able to try many more dishes. The food at other tables looked amazing, too. I definitely recommend you stop in and get a very delicious and enjoyable meal!
Place is OK. Service is very good. Food, is an acquired taste. My husband's dish is best described as a goat that identifies as chicken cordon bleau, the brussel sprouts were charred and mashed potatoes were good. My Roto burger was delicious, although, the size of my head and I felt only a gator has the mouth to take a good bite. French fries were either way overcooked or had been sitting long enough that they got refried to a crisp. The peanut butter/chocolate pie was awesome, as was the pumpkin pie.
Again, waitresses were great.
1st time dining here. They hinted they were very busy and a little behind. ( thanks for the warning, it did help)Yes, they were a little delayed getting our meals out but the food was worth it. For appetizers we had bacon wrapped scallops, coconut shrimp and stuffed mushrooms. All were amazingly good. Entrees included steak tips, whole belly clams, steak Frite, Brussel sprout salads with chicken and a huge chicken basket. Everything was raved about. Great portions. Great prices. Great service. Fantastic meals.
Went for a beer and a snack after they catered an event I attended. They went above and beyond expectations and their cook is awesome! The wings and cold beer were phenomenal and I’ll be back. Thanks from BMMC!
Wonderful food, and the folks treat you like family.
I went with my family to Rotisserie in Burlington, and I won't ever be back. The entrees are sizable and worth the price, just as long as they're cooked well. I ordered the chicken marsala, which looked great and smelled wonderful, but the chicken was overcooked and dry. My daughter ordered the nachos and she did her customization for toppings based on what the menu included. To everyone's surprise, the nachos came out loaded with things she would have opted out of had she seen it in the description on the menu. Neither of us ate what we ordered, mine being cooked improperly and hers having ingredients she doesnt like to eat (she's 10). Once I addressed this with the waitress, she quickly became rude, and came back without a solution that was appeasing. I requested to speak with the manager (very Karen of me, I know). I explained to him everything that I stated above, but he only offered to take the nachos off the bill and 10 dollars off my entrée. The chicken marsala was 21 dollars and change, and I ate only a few bites before I realized there was no portion of the meal I was going to enjoy eating, not based on taste preference, but solely on how it was cooked. Something to keep in mind is that the chef is also the manager of this establishment. Also, pictured is a framed picture on the wall with an extensive amount of times worth of dust caked onto it. The table I sat at was clean. The bar area seemed nice. If you want to spend around 20 dollars for a meal, I'd bring your money elsewhere.
There is nothing contemporary or trendy about the decor inside, nor the outside of the building. The food and service were both very good. The steak frites meal was very good. The bacon wrapped steak was thick, flavorful and cooked exactly to order. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The prices were very reasonable - $22.00 for steak frites. I didn’t see any entrees that exceeded $30. Sandwiches with fries were in the $15 range. I would gladly return to try some of their other entrees.
Made reservations for group of 11 for dinner to celebrate a birthday. Reservation at 5:30 first meal arrived at 7:05. Out of all our meals only two of them were correct and two of them were never received. Prime rib was mediocre to say the least. Overcooked and tough, 1 was very good. Two of our party ordered the Yankee pot roast. The meat was so tough that you could barely put a fork into it and the carrots were mostly raw. Most of the orders were either missing a side or the sides were incorrect. Baked potatoes under cooked and tasted microwaved. It took so long for the meals to trickle out by the time the 9th one came the first people were almost done eating. After 2 1/2 hours and 2 meals missing totally we were told that they would comp those two meals. What a joke comp something you never received? Asked to speak to the manager or owner, was told that they were too busy and couldn't come and speak with us but he did offer us a 10% discount. We told them that a 10% discount was unacceptable, eventually they comped all the meals but I would rather have had a wonderful meal with my family. Will never return.

This was my first time here in many years when it was different owners. I was definitely impressed and will go back again.
I agree with another review that said the dining room was a little outdated, but I was very comfortable and I wasn’t there to look at the decorations! As far as the service goes, our service was great, and my meat was cooked to perfection by Sean!
The only reason I did not give them a 5 star was because I asked the lady who brought my food out for us to have rolls that were supposed to come with our dinner and she never returned. I had to then ask another waitress. I wish that our waitress had just explained to us that they were in the oven so we didn’t have to ask to begin with.
In my opinion, the prices were excellent for the portion size! I am sorry that I don’t have pictures to share. We ate everything so fast lol I personally got fillet mignon and it was just over $20, which is unheard of for that cut of steak. I honestly can’t wait to go again.

Fine quantity food. Try something other than the prime rib.

My wife and I ordered the fish & chips and the lasagna. We thought they both were very good! Very generous sized portions, and tasted like home-cooked meals. The waitress was pleasant, struck up a brief conversation, and the owner delivered our meals to us himself. We’re from out of town, so it was nice to find such a homey restaurant within walking distance of our hotel. Hope we get a chance to eat here again!

Were there for dinner on Sep 1. We sat in the bar area for 10 minutes at a table without being greeted. We moved to the dining room and hoped for the best.
Dining room staff was nice and attentive, but the ticket times were 20-30 min. Two of the steaks were well instead of medium.
Dining rooms were not that full, so I can only assume the kitchen was horribly understaffed or inexperienced. Not sure if there was a manger on duty or not. If there was, I hope to god they were in the kitchen trying to expedite and get food out.
Dishwasher kept walking through the dining room to grab the full bus tub in the server station. Suggestion - have the dining room staff take it back or have a dress code for kitchen staff.
Maybe this was an off night for the kitchen, but some of this stuff we encountered seemed like bad habits.

As always not the cleanest..flys around our table. Not the fastest service. Waitstaff was kind. But food was fabulous as always. The portions are hugh. Been going there since the seventies. Never disappointed with the food. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an affordable and tasty meal.
