Happening bar usually full of locals. I am cracking up at the 3 star review below mine where the person goes on for three paragraphs about a negative experience and the owner simply responded with “would love to get 5 stars”. Lmaooo me too buddy, me too.

Tim and Kyle were very welcoming and treated us like regular customers, even though we were from out of town! Such a great experience making us feel like home far away from Chicago! Thank you!!!

Good food, nice atmosphere, great band (Hulabaloo), but the two male bartenders servicing the outside window were rude and arrogant. Leave you standing there for a long time ignoring you. Went inside and the girl bartender who came in later was pleasant. You need to dedicate one bartender for the outside service window if you don’t have waitresses. Two bartenders worth there oats should be able to handle inside. Kind of left us four with a sour taste.

We had a woman named Brit , who was our bartender tonight and she was the best smiling face, dealing with so many customers, so many pull tickets, and her smile never left her face the entire night she was quick, She was fast and she was super friendly and nice and kind.! She is what every customer needs!

Ordered food there for the first time and the chicken wings were amazing. Everything was veey good.

What a fabulous place for live music and dancing. The food was awesome, and the service was the best I've seen. If you're looking for a fun night out, don't hesitate to put The Old Post on your agenda!

Just had the jerk wings over rice and beans. it was the most tender and well seasoned chicken wing I've ever had. Amazing. Bar service was also great.

Went with my 7yo, was unsure if that was a wise choice. But once inside I felt at ease, was warm and welcoming bar atmosphere. The bartender was the only server (monday afternoon) but he was so incredibly welcoming and kind. He checked on us a couple times and was super friendly to my child. We had a great dinner.

Kid-friendliness: We went early (430 on monday) and was super pleased with the reception for me and my child (7yo)
