It was a pleasant surprise to find a local spot in Vermont that actually serves Italian style dishes that are comparable to the ones in NJ! The food was great (we had a whole pie with half pepperoni, penne alla vodka with shrimp, and a chicken roll) and the portion was very generous! There were tables to eat in. The only thing that confused us was their menu containing Asian cuisine, along with the Italian cuisine. But yeah, they knew how to cook!The only downside was that the cashier was a bit "out of it" and had no common sense. We are a family of 4 with younger kids. We ordered the food and implied that we'd be eating-in by grabbing a table and settling in (and tipped rather generously) but the food didn't come. After nearly a half an hour, I was forced to check with the kitchen, at which time, they said the food was ready and they were waiting for me. I told them I've been waiting at the table, then they asked me if we were eating in. I told the kitchen staff yes, and they started changing the plates. The cashier? She didn't even care while this was going on.All in all, the food was great and we were happy, except for the cashier's job (or the lack thereof).

Pad Thai noodles and Chicken and broccoli with brown sauce. No flavor, completely uneventful. Don't make the same mistake. Run!

Wonton soup was good but the wontons were fishy, maybe its me?Pizza was a thin crust and okay tasting, have had better and worse. Greek salad was fine and so were mozzarella sticks. Not a lot of local food options in this town, so limited.Family kitchen is clean and food was hot. Just not blown away by the taste of any of our items. If back in town, I would grab a milkshake at Honey Pie across the street and food from Family Kitchen.
The pizza was okay but given the limited options in the area, I was impressed with the taste. I wasn’t too impressed with the price. 2 large pizzas, 1 with 2 toppings, 1 with 3, and mozzarella sticks came out to $87. This seemed really pricey to me. It took close to an hour for the pizza to be ready too. I ordered ahead, arrived at the place maybe 40 minutes after ordering, then had to wait there for a few.

When it's the only place open you take what you can get. Is a pizza fun to eat when all the toppings have slid off the crust because it was jammed into the box not so gently? Or dropped on the floor before picking it up? Well if you're relying on that for your only meal of the day???? Well??? Ok. Does it taste ok when slammed back together ?? Ok yeah not bad. But slam on the untalented person sliding the pie into the box. If you can't get the pizza into the box without a tragedy then maybe you're not the best person at that job. And this is not the first time experiencing this problem. C'mon man.

$30 for these pizzas? Not a good deal. Very mediocre, $15 max. Dough is flat and flavorless, like cardboard.
