Underground Coffee Roasters in Vermont deserves an unequivocal five-star rating for its outstanding commitment to the art of coffee, creating an experience that coffee aficionados and casual drinkers alike can't help but love. The cozy ambiance of the underground space provides the perfect backdrop for savoring expertly roasted and brewed coffee. What truly sets this roastery apart is their divine maple latte--a local favorite that has captured the hearts (and taste buds) of everyone who walks through the door. The subtle sweetness of Vermont's signature maple flavor harmoniously blends with the rich espresso, creating a latte that's both comforting and indulgent. The staff's passion for coffee is palpable, and their friendliness only adds to the overall charm of this hidden gem. Underground Coffee Roasters is undeniably a must-visit spot for those seeking an authentic and delightful coffee experience in the heart of Vermont.

Best coffee ever! We were on vacation in Vermont and stopped by to get a cup of coffee and few bags to take home. The owner/ barista is very passionate about what he does and very patient. We made our order complicated, he didn't say a word and accommodated it. We ordered a few more bags to be mailed in since our trip to VT, and will keep ordering. We live in South Florida and have access to great coffee - Cuban etc. But this one beats them all.

Great place for excellent coffee and they have mail order service. The owner is a super nice guy and quite helpful.

As a home coffee roaster and self-taught Coffee Sommelier, I want to share that there is nothing not to love about this Coffee Hut. The Owner/Barista/Roaster hails from a country that has loved excellent coffee longer than America. Australia gifted us with the flat white no matter what St*arbucks has led you to believe. The coffee, espresso, and coffee-based drinks are made to the highest standards and would be in the running for a prize at any Barista competition. I am a double Espresso and coffee person, but I had heard so much about the maple latte that I had to try it to see what the roar was about. I am trying to remember having a better prepared espresso drink that I didn't make myself. WOW! Perfection in a cup!! I am going to duplicate it at home. Did he use maple syrup, maple sugar crystals, or a combo? I wish I knew! enJOy!

This place is literally a whole in the wall with great coffee and great service. Being the ex-New Yorker that I am, I came here because I heard the coffee was good. Well, it is! I also thought it is the kind of coffee shop where I can get my laptop out and work. It is not. There is some nice seating outside. In case of rain or strong sun there are sun umbrellas there. There is a heater above the order window for winter months (I assume...). No wifi. If you want to come here to get work done, it's not the ideal place for it. The elements and nature will get to you. If you want to come with a friend to enjoy quality cup of joe - this place is for you. They have great service - my kids kept demanding a coffee as well and ended up with some milk In espresso cups which made them very happy. I have tried several coffee places in the surrounding area and was not impressed. This one is the best one by far. If you are a coffee lover, this stop is a must. Enjoy!

We drove an hour to buy some coffee but they were closed. Not much we could do. Big bummer.

Maple latte with oat milk was perfect. Delicately balanced with the coffee without overpowering sweetness. I drove here 2 days in a row to get it. Their hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows was a nice winter warm up as well. Coffee is roasted in house and smelled amazing..lightly roasted more blonde to medium. Regular coffee was decent as well.

This place is great. We're so lucky to have such a good coffee place out here! Lines can get a little long so recommend ordering ahead. Beans and the roast are top notch.

The coffee here is amazing, I highly recommend their iced maple latte. I do suggest going online to find out their hours for the day as they do tend to close in the early afternoon. The Rawsonville Roost is set up with a few different shops; it's a perfect place to stop by for a bite to eat or a quick coffee pick me up. In addition to the underground coffee bar, there is a bakery/florist shop, a pizzeria/Asian food kitchen and a craft beer shop. Outside there are a few picnic tables where you can eat or enjoy your coffee. Across the street there is a fast food joint with additional picnic tables.

Chris is a terrific roaster and barista all in one. His coffee is some of the best prepared in the area!

The best coffee place you should check out if you are nearby. We love maple syrup latte and ice latte. Place is small where only coffee choices can be provided.

Addicted. This place is great. We order whole beans by mail. We get maple lattes frequently. Friendly. Local. Tasty. The real deal.

This is a tiny little coffee shop near Stratton Mountain that serves great coffee and espresso drinks, but also roasts their own beans, so you can take some of the deliciousness home with you! A must-visit if you're a coffee lover.

A great find! I always look for good espresso wherever we travel, and Ungrounded Coffee Roasters is it in the Stratton Mountain area. I wish they offered some pastries too (for the kids to enjoy), but the coffee was great and so was the service.

Delicious coffee! Great coffee window with tasty espresso drinks. We showed up a bit past closing time not knowing it was closed and they were happy to serve us anyways. Good spot, best coffee I've tried near the Stratton base so far.
