A friend and I went there to get something to eat. The burritos were pre-made wrapped and left in a hotbox. Not knowing how long they sat in the hotbox but the food was just ok, not good. Now the next morning both my friend and I are paying for it and are sick to our stomachs.

Terrible place. Went here with a few friends and this restaurant charged 3 of my friends credit cards 100$ each (after only ordering 1 drink)Do not go here. They take advantage of you and try and steal your hard earned money.

I've had a great time here the few times I went over the last 2 years. It's so different than anything else in Stowe. The tacos I had were really good. The atmosphere is what really does it for me. It's a dive (that's a good thing!). An awesome huge space that makes you feel like you are in a rock club in the 80s in the big city before the band goes on. The playlist is great (if you like that punk/post-punk/etc. sort of music). Movies on the pull down screen, corn hole, darts. My 8 year old loves it. My wife loves it. If you are looking for an Apres-spot with a fireplace and raclette this isn't your place. If you want a place to chill, have some drinks and food and not wait in line for an hour with a bunch of investment bankers from the 'burbs check this place out. If you don't dig it you are probably just not cool. Sorry.

One word.. TERRIBLE! BOTH STAFF & PLACE!I visited this bar during winter rendezvous ski weekend this January. I lost my ID and credit card which were later found at this place. A guy named Chris had promised me he would mail the documents to me as soon as next day but he never did and he never responded to the several emails I sent to him. I called this place at least 6 times and there’s no one to help me resolve the issue. In fact when I called again today a guy named Jen or Jan hung up the phone as soon as I mentioned who I was. When I called back he never picked up any of my calls. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would! Most irresponsible and unprofessional workers! On that note they should also look into getting a normal “sound system”. My portablespeaker has better sound than what they currently have

Purchased online tickets for the Wu Tang - GZA show online. On the direct website of the upcoming show nor in the purchase process was it identified as a 21+ show…. Upon being denied access, requested to speak to onsite management, this request never happened… security guard came out with cash to pay me my refund… yet, the hour plus drive and overall disappointment of an exciting event for me and my two teenage boys was lost, due to lack of proper details to a site that is NOT a normal 21+ site. VERY disappointing ????

False Advertising,,, The restaurant closes at 9:30/10 and it was not made known anywhere. Once we got there at 1015ish, the only food option was an overpriced burrito that we couldn’t even eat. Very

Had our first visit on this, our 20 something years of Stowe runs. We went around lunch time when they opened because we had the kids. The space is a great place to hang out with some old school arcade games, ping pong table, corn hole boards, music, etc. For me, the real fun was in the food. The tacos were amazing. Haven't had great tacos like this in a long while. Great beer and drink selection too. Highly recommend. I'm sure the night time atmosphere would be fun. Will certainly visit on the next Stowe run.

Weekend trip with my wife in Stowe this past weekend. Me, the beer lover, suggested we check this place out and so we did and wow, the games, the atmosphere, the beer selection and the staff were awesome!!! We ended up coming back both nights and had a good taste of the whole beer list at that point!

Was in Stowe for vacation and needed a casual place to eat dinner. Went to Alfie's with my husband and toddler daughter and it was exactly what we wanted for that night. There's a bar that serves good beer and also food like tacos and quesadillas, which were a bit pricey, but also delicious. Honestly, I thought it was worth it. The bartender was great at recommending beers but also recommending other places in the area since we were from out of town. Super nice and chill. For the little one, there were arcade games, patio couches to sit on while watching football games on their big big projector TVs. There was also a shuffle board too, and cornhole. We had a great time. The perfect spot for us on a Thursday night.

Chris and the gang are great fun and always on hand to offer good advice on food and drinks. Good buzz and atmosphere.

Highly recommend for the best street-style Mexican food in Stowe! Located discreetly in the former Auto Shop, Alfie’s dishes out authentic flavors with the bonus of a fun, unconventional atmosphere. Great spot for a casual dinner or just to hangout and grab a drink from their long list of draft beer selections. Tacos come individually and are a traditional street size, which is a great excuse to try them all! Loved the carne asada—full of flavor and a perfect amount of heat. The birria beef was tender and juicy. Tacos were so good that we went twice on our 3-day vacation! If you’re visiting Stowe, be sure to check this place out!

There are 2 very different ways to view Alfie's. As a bar and place to hang out with friends it's awesome. Great beer selection, many games, big space, private parking lot.As a takeout spot charging $9 for one just ok taco it's a pass. A good taco doesn't even cost $9 in New York.
