The management is great! Employees are great! I worked the Gondola all winter and I have to say the food for where they are on top of Vermont is definately worth taking a ride on the Gondola. For my birthday the other day Carl made me a bacon cheeseburger I totally enjoyed every bite. Carl is thank you!

We went for lunch. We don't ski, but thought it would be a cool addition to our trip to Stowe. The gondola ride is neat, but it's $34/person. The restaurant required a reservation, but limited it to 60min seating. The tacos were very dry. The soup was good though. Beers were from a can and there were hardly any drink options.

Great views, warm ambiance, hot chocolate, decent service and falling snow add up to 5 stars for Stowe's Cliff House at the top of Mt. Mansfield. Worth the effort. Reservations required as of 02/2021. Plan ahead to get there based on lift lines at gondola. You have one hour to dine and the clock starts whether you're on time or not so plan ahead to ensure you don't get stuck in long lines at the base of mountain and end up missing your treat at the top

Good day skiing at Stowe. Cliff house was fine but bring your own food, cheapest item was a hot dog for $12 bucks! Not even a good hot dog at that ?.

The only reason I'm not giving 1 star is because this was during COVID. One individual in our party had allergies and said she was allergic to tomatoes and they came on the plate. She ate around them but when we told our waitress she said well I told the kitchen your allergies instead of just apologizing. They did take off the meal from the check though. The Cesar salad that I got was good but the mac in cheese was very bland and would not order again. Also we waited for 30 mins for our reservation. We were a party of 5 and only had 2 menus and asked for another and our waitress was like hmm let me see if the hostess will let you have another. Just overall a very uncomfortable experience.

We went in to warm up a bit, check out the view, and ordered drinks only. The view was pretty, I imagine prettier for those who are not skiers who come up for lunch. Highlight: the hot buttered rum - yummy!

They need to update their Google listing as it says they are open or even go old school and put a sign at the bottom saying closed so people don't have to wait until they get to the top to find out

The trolley ride is good and the waffles at top are amazing. The patio is a nice place to sit and enjoy. The views of the lake in the valley are awesome. There are ma y other gondola rides around which you should try if you end up going here.

Great views but the COVID-19 experience changed the experience

Even if you have no ski skills this is defiantly the place to go for that big mountain experience. Food was well prepared with a good selection. This is destination dining at its best and an experience to remember. You do have to take the ski lift up the mountain which isn't cheap if you don't already have a lift pass but it's def money well spent.

Only accessible by riding the gondola to the top of the chin of Mount Mansfield. Most of the lunch crowd were skiers, but a few people rode the gondola just for the view and the lunch. The menu is pretty basic, but very well done. The views are incomparable. Good selection of beverages, and service was fast, and at the end of the day, no more expensive than eating anywhere else on the mountain, except they have tableservice, and it was quite civilized.

You can't beat the top of the mountain! The meal was thoughtful, appealing and delicious.
