All for the views. Food is the same cafeteria quality you get elsewhere on mountain and you have to get up and order yourself. Views are great, though!

Our family of four went to the Cliff House Restaurant last year not long after moving to the area. This is a tourist trap with low quality, cheap, poorly prepared, and WAY overpriced food. You don't even get actual table service. You have to go up to the counter to place your order. We had a table by the window so the view was pretty, but we will never go back to this restaurant. Take the sky gondola up there, walk around for the views and taking photos, then go back down and eat at one of the MUCH better restaurants in Stowe.

Not very well oiled machine. Overpriced like any mountain food. We waited for a table. They gave us a table in the back and started rolling silver ware at the table with views lol. Was something awesome.

One of the most unique dining places in Stowe. Need to take the gondola to get to the top of the mountain. This restaurant has absolutely gorgeous views and food. Reservations required.Service was absolutely amazing and so was the food. I loved their waffle sundae! The spicy black bean burger is a great option for vegetarian food. It’s a must try. I highly recommend checking out this restaurant.Parking: You need to park at the gondola parking lot, take the gondola to get to this restaurant.

Let's play a game of telephone.Someone who has been to New Orleans, and once eaten a po' boy. Then tell them how you think it was made, and five people later tell the staff at Cliff House. That's their $25 shrimp poor boy. On an over-sauced ciabatta roll. Just don't ?

We had lunch on a very snowy and foggy day so we did not experience the great view. Although we enjoyed the gondola ride to the top, I consider it can be too pricey for the the food you can expect. We tried the house burger, chicken sandwich and salad but we were not impressed. It was good food but nothing extraordinary.

Horrible and cheap food. The only thing that this restaurant has is phenomenal view. $45 gandol ride + $30 parking. So $75, just to get to this restaurant and extremely overpriced food. I wasted $200!! I kept telling myself that the view was all worth it, at least that made me feel better!

Not a good experience overall, you should spend your money at the restaurants nearby instead.Atmosphere not worth the hype: We made a prior reservation for a table for 4, but when we went in and asked for the tables with the view down the mountain (there were 5 empty tables for 4 in that area) the hostess said they were taken by “a big group” and other reservations. Those tables were empty up until an hour later, and when we were leaving, one table was still left empty, no big group was seated as well.Poor service: One kind server greeted us at our table at the start, and after we ordered and paid at the counter and closed out the tab, no one came to check on us at all for the next hour. After about 15min the afternoon sun was burning on us at our table and we were visibly uncomfortable, yet no one even came close to asking us if we were ok and it was so hard to get the servers attention. When we gave feedback about the sun to the server clearing our table at the end, she just brushed it off and said that this window’s afternoon sun is the worst.

Not too many options at the top of a mountain, but this was better than I would've guessed given extremely limited competition. I was impressed that the spicy black burger is handmade, and it being a bit fried gives a welcomed crisp and crunch to the flavor and texture experience. Same for the sweetness of a potato bun. After that, everything else was mostly about as expected. Decent drink selection (beer, cider, wine, etc). The pretzel bites were a bit too fried and dried out for my liking, but I'll be honest, it was just a medium to consume some whole grain mustard ? can't write a review without at least mentioning the gorgeous view. Even on a cloudy day, there are some majestic qualities in every direction.

Advance reservations required and the available time slots book up days to weeks in advance. It makes it a little hard to time your visit to the Cliff House restaurant. The restaurant is situated on top of the gondola on Mount Mansfield at Stowe Mountain Resort. Weather permitting, the restaurant has seating with a view. On our visit there wasn’t much to see with the low cloud deck but the visit was still worth it knowing you were dining on top of the mountain with family and friends and view of the gondola.*If you don’t have a reservation, you can still visit and get alcoholic drinks and coffee to go.*

We arrived 10 minutes late for our reservation, but they still had our table. Traffic was very slow to the gondola. According to Google, traveling by car from Burlington to the Gondola should have taken 1 hr. It took us close to 2.5hrs (it was a holiday weekend), so travelers beware! The food was very good and the service was great. There was a low-lying cloud the day we went up, so you could not see expansive views, but we loved it just the same.

This place was expensive in my book. The chicken club was dry. Menu was limited. You had to go up to place your order, and then someone would bring you your food. For 2 people at lunch, 1 cocktail, before tip, our bill was $107.00. The view is very pretty though.
