Colonial Cafe

Stopped by for breakfast before hitting the slopes. Ordered the Eggs Benedict and was not disappointed - I loved their hollandaise sauce. Lynn, our waitress, was very friendly and took great care of us. I will return next time I am town for sure!

This restaurant is located on our hotel property. Breakfast is served from 7am to 11am daily. I like that it is short wall from our hotel room. When we got there we had to wait a few minutes. I assuming they were not expecting that many people sround 7 to 730am in the morning, which make sense. We finally got seated and I ordered a hot chocolate and then I ordered the hilltopper and that included one waffle and some slices of bacon. It appears that this is now called The Nest, at least the sign on the door says that. It's in the Golden Eagle resort complex. Regardless, it's a wonderful place to eat. We had breakfast, which was fantastic. We both had the Mountaineer, which is a fresh egg omelet with in -season veggies, Vermont cheese and it also had pesto.
