Atmosphere is great. Waitress was very nice and food was brought out quick.
Service is top notch.
But menu is very limited and the food is very marginal.
Calamari is not what you expect. It is rubbery and not that flavorful.
Cheeseburger is a smash burger, but not explained in the menu. $15 for a small patty and low quality lettuce and a small pickle. No sides included.
A family of 3 with a couple drinks cost $160. I could have gotten a better meal at McDonald’s and grabbing a 4 pack from a gas station for $40.

Food was amazing. Loved the vibe. Server really struggled to take care of our table, answer basic bar questions, and tab out gift cards. As a previous server it doesn’t feel good to step in and tell a server that yes, they can do that… but unsure why if you weren’t sure of an answer you wouldn’t ask a coworker instead of telling guests incorrect info. Will come back and hopefully have better service.

Doc Ponds definitely exceeded our expectations. The winter spritz mocktail was so good and one of the best cocktails I have ever had. The burger, fries, and soba noodles were all very good. We loved the cozy atmosphere and our server was great. We will definitely be back on our next Stowe trip!

I love everything about this place. I eat here everytime I visit Stowe. The mac & cheese is the best I have ever had.

Among my favorite spots in winter, because of the fireplace and Hearth. Fabulous in all seasons for the vinyl they spin . . . and for the food and libations! Best smashed burger in town and the veggie sides are not to be missed. They'll make a Brussels Sprouts lover out of you! Outside dining in warm weather and always hopping, inside.

Good food but a bit pricey. Burger came without fries, but was cooked well and tasted good. Double burger with a side of fries was $27. Now the side of fries is enough for two. The burger needed no help in the taste area, leave the ketchup alone. Don't get me wrong, the double cheese burger was great but $18 may be a stretch.

Solid bar food and beer list! My wife and I always frequent here when we are in Stowe. The hush puppies and wings are a must! I would also check out whatever beers they have from Hill Farmstead brewing!

Great funky beer bar with an excellent selection focusing on local brews. Great straightforward menu of creative dishes to pair. Excellent year round, but especially as a getaway from the snow

Good food, although I was coaxed in by the price of the burger not knowing the fries would be à la carte and I probably would’ve went elsewhere for a similar price point. Mainly ignored/forgotten by servers (on a Tuesday)

We really enjoyed the creative menu options, high quality dishes, excellent service, and cozy but classy atmosphere.
We had a mushroom medley to start, served cold, and they were pleasantly packed with marinated flavor. For our mains, we had a half chicken and bolognese. The chicken was cooked perfectly and topped with a tasty chimichurri, along with delicious hand cut fries. It was a good sized bird with a seasoned, crispy skin, and the portion gave us a whole 'nother meal for the next day! The bolognese delivered on taste as well.
We would be happy to come back and try more of the rotating menu offerings another time.

The food was ok and our server was fantastic she is the only reason that i didn't rate this place lower. I don't think the front of the house really wanted to seat us because of my skin color. I have 2 other couple came up after me 15 and 25min after me. I could hear the whole conversation both of them didn't have a reservation but somehow they got seated before me.
