Octopus appetizer was tasty and tender. Duck drummies were very good but might have had slightly more sauce. I enjoyed the trout and one friend had the salmon and said it was very good. The carnivores had the filet and chicken and were happy with their choices. Cocktails were great!

Lobster roll was flavorless but large portion. Fries were tasty but greasy. Tuna nicoise was large serving but tuna lacked flavor. The HVAC rumbled like a tank when on making conversation difficult. Cake was dry but cappuccino was excellent. Cheddar potato soup was excellent.

Had lobster roll there on Aug.1st Not good….very little lobster, no sauce or butter, dry roll. Have had many good meals there over 20+ years. Won’t be going back!
The food was decent, though not exceptional. The atmosphere was alright — it’s located in a basement, which may not be for everyone. Service was fine and staff were polite. Overall, a solid experience, but there’s room for improvement.

The calamari dish was one of the most disgusting things I have ever tried in a restaurant. No real chef would serve that. The meal was otherwise medium quality. Not sure what all the hype is at this place?

Atmosphere was really great and also the service on the bar.
We had so much fun with the great dinner and drinks.
Amazing little restaurant with amazing food
Hard to get a reservation, but always great food and great service. I do wish the wine list was a bit more robust but do always enjoy my meal.

Review: A Fantastic Dinner at The Harrison
We had a wonderful dinner at The Harrison. The ambience is absolutely amazing—though the dining area is in the basement, it’s beautifully decorated and doesn’t feel stuffy at all. The service was equally impressive; our server was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.
For food, my wife had the calamari, which was fantastic, while I started with the Brie and jam—it was delicious. I also tried the duck wings as a starter, which were excellent. For my main course, I had the pistachio-crusted venison, and it was the highlight of the night—perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor.
Overall, the dishes were well-priced, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the experience was excellent. We’ll definitely be returning!
Chicken picatta was excellent.
My husband and I have been going to Harrison’s from the beginning, sadly the food is not the quality as it used to be. My lamb chops, they were not encrusted, over cooked and they were very small. Bland potatoes and vegetables. My husband’s filet was just ok, some weird gravy on it, very lack luster. The menu is not the delicious, creative, fresh food we used to have. It used to be one of our favorites, we are not sure we will go back.

Hope to come back next year!
