My boyfriend and I came for dinner and we're not disappointed. Service was awesome and the food was delicious. We asked for any hot sauce, expecting something generic like Tabasco. We were super excited to hear that chef Jamie made his own. It is absolutely amazing, if you love spicy and haven't tried it , it's a must!!! It made the whole experience even more special. Printed specials every night, which was a nice touch on the menu ? Very good salads and soups with a decent variety to choose from! We had the Burrata Caprese and the Watermelon Arugula family style. Several different drinks on the menu were well made and tasty. We had the Lobster roll, Rack of Lamb, Poke Bowl, Chicken Razorback, & Duck Tenderloin. All were cooked to "chefs preference" and delicious. We also ordered the Keylime Pie, Peanut Butter Pie and Frozen Mocha Cheesecake. The desserts are ??. The cheesecake had more of a mousse consistency, but was sooooo good.

My partner and I dined at Harrison’s pre-covid and had a wonderful experience… so much so that we made reservations months ago for our return trip to Stowe. Unfortunately we were very disappointed this time around. The “rack of lamb” was more like 2 loin chops with very little meat (mostly gristle) on them, and my sides consisted of the same tasteless mashed potatoes and limp veggies that my parter had with his (mediocre at best) pork tenderloin. As to service… the folks at the table next to us were obviously regulars, and they got much more attention than we did. All in all, this was a very disappointing evening at what we thought was our new favorite restaurant… and to think, we traveled 2 hours to get there!

Made an “on the fly” decision to visit Harrison’s last night and did not regret it. My burrata caprese salad looked as good as it tasted, providing an excellent preparation for my entree. Our filet’s were cooked to a medium rare perfection and covered in a mouth-watering bordelaise sauce. Sided with mixed vegetables cooked perfectly, crisp and fresh, sitting on a bed of creamy mashed potatoes.

Very diverse dinner menu from lobster roll to venison. All expertly prepared and provided with solid service. Strong wine list and creative cocktails. We were unable to get reservations 6 weeks ahead but hot walk-in seating on the patio right away at 5:00.
I ate the venison pistachio topped steak and my girlfriend had the rack of lamb. Both were tasty and well presented on the plate. For dessert I had the maple walnut ice cream. The table service was excellent.

I was able to get an 8 pm reservation day of and was very impressed. Love the upscale lodge atmosphere inside. The service was excellent to the point that wife commented on how on point it was (this never happens). The cocktails, apps, and entrees were all great. I would recommend the mushroom toast and ravioli. We are only in Stowe once a year but will come again next time.

This place was very decent. The website says no reservations needed for patio so when the we arrived on a Saturday at 5pm and went inside to find the host I figured I would ask for an inside table even though the online reservations said no availability for 3 weeks. They offered us our choice of tables so we ended up inside after all. Shrimp cocktail was just average but chicken piccata was fantastic. Profiteroles were also average. Service was great!
