This was our third time coming to Harrison’s (three years in a row) and it is truly one of the best (if not THE best) restaurant in Stowe. All of the servers are attentive, food and drinks never disappoints and the atmosphere is cozy and romantic.

I really enjoyed dinner here! I wish I could give it a 5 but the food and menu left a little to be desired. The atmosphere is so nice and cozy and intimate, and our server was excellent. However I feel like the food could have been prepared with more finesse given the price point.

Bring back the pistachio crusted venison and this is a 5 star restaurant! Removing the most reviewed and unique menu item is a wild move, even if it can be challenging to source

My husband and I make a point to eat at Harrison's whenever we are in Stowe. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is just beautiful!

Crab cake are so good and I usually don't care for them but these were great. I had the pork tenderloin, I don't make pork at home because it always turns out dry, this was great and the sweet potato was yummy. My husband had the Lobster Florentine and it was very good. Definitely need reservations, it's a small quiet place and fills up fast.

We have been dining here for years, but something is different. The menu is not appealing. The food quality just isn’t what it once was. It’s disappointing to see such a longtime favorite decline.

A local favorite changed it up. Much to our surprise there is a new menu and it’s a step down compared to the prior menu. Offerings are not as appealing and favorites like the tuna nachos, octopus, and filet are gone. Not sure the circumstances but probably won’t be back that often

The food and service was excellent. Hands down the best I had since coming to Stowe.
Seth was our server and did a great job, tentative and his recommendations were spot on. Especially for the dessert.
Best carrot cake I ever had. Took an extra piece home .

A cute, small basement restaurant downtown Stowe. Super fast turn times and friendly staff. The venison sushi was awesome.

This is a hidden gem in Stowe! In the basement of a store the vibe is incredible mixing cozy with upscale! The warm atmosphere sets the tone for the delectable food that follows! Sharing the crab cakes, bread, beet salad, harvest salad the crab cakes and beet salad were top choices! All the food was fresh and extremely well seasoned. For entrees the stand outs were the pistachio crusted venison! Hands down a table pleaser! This is not your typical venison, it is lean, easy to bite, and the pistachio crusted venison adds an incredible crunch! Cannot recommend this enough one of the best red meat entrees I’ve ever tried! Harrison’s is a great stop in Stowe for a group dinner or date night!

The atmosphere and service were both great. Loved the coziness and small size of the place. The food was just ok. My husband's filet was very small and overcooked. The mushroom ravioli could use more sauce. Also, with how expensive the food is, they should give you free dinner rolls. $10 for 4 small rolls and not enough butter is a rip off.

Excellent food and friendly attentive service.
Seasonal Roasted Beet Salad - just the right combination of ingredients(beats, grams, pear, goat cheese, vinaigrette) in the right proportions so that they worked perfectly with each other with none of them overpowering the others.
Crayfish and Crab Cakes - nice flavorful lumps of crab meat with just the right amount of sauce and just a dusting of Old Bay Seasoning.
Pistachio Crusted Venison - I don’t usually like blue cheese in my food but the out ended up being the right flavor for the meat, pistachios, and sauce.
Profiteroles - the fudge is between a ganache and pudding, rich dark and not too sweet.

All food was mediocre. Not worth the money

My main concern is that if you are downstairs and you have any emergency, it could be a problem. Especially if there are people seated at the table by the rear exit.
