Starbucks only serves hot chocolate with mocha in it. They don’t make regular hot chocolate. I only wanted a regular hot chocolate after a walk with my husband, our 8 year old boy and our small dog. Husband and dog enjoyed their drinks but my boy and I had to walk further down the road to get a regular no mocha added hot chocolate to warm ourselves up from our walk.
Watch out if you buy a hot chocolate for your kid. I mean really mocha flavoring isn’t a flavor most kids like. You may end up wasting money.

An excellent cup of coffee brewed by locals, like you and me! How exciting to have a Starbucks in Stowe. The food was fantastic, and my drink was made just right.
I hope they open the drive thru up soon!

Stowe is such a cute town! So, was somewhat disappointed at the bland & generic atmosphere at this Starbucks. I really like Starbucks coffee so stopped in here. Hate to say it (sorry Starbucks!) but the coffee shop across the street had coffee just as good, terrific pastries and super cute atmosphere. Starbucks - I’ll come back to you when I get home or am in a large city.

Starbucks has no place here in Stowe
Walked in here and were greeted by friendly staff. Got to try chicken maple egg sandwich (highly recommended). Good ole SB, thanks!

First of all this place shouldn’t be in Stowe. Sadly I decided to quickly place an ahead order since I was in a rush and wanted to give it a chance. I order a VENTI with no ice, the description of this is 24fl oz, of the drink, not the ice. I understand that this means less of the add ins proportionally but the liquid should be 24fluid ounces. It was maybe 16 ounces which if I wanted I would’ve ordered ?. The balding worker says that’s the venti… I’ve never had this happen at other coffee shops or Starbucks and this place felt unwelcoming. This dude genuinely repelled me from this place with his unprofessional attitude, maybe not all the workers are like this but it’s not hard to find someone to have a good work ethic… go to black cap coffee instead. Not being overdramatic, I know want ?♀️

This place is….fine. But I don’t live in VT or come to stowe for generic mediocrity, and can’t get over how out of place Starbucks is in the middle of an otherwise lovely, local set of businesses. Go to black cap coffee (across the street) instead!
The day it started i am the regular customer and pops is really great , My fav drink is matcha tea , do visit

I am a regular Starbucks customer and usually don’t have any issues with ordering from this location but the customer service was incredibly rude today from one of the employees. I don’t know if the guy was just having a bad day but he literally shewed me away after I asked if the payment was processed because he just left in the middle of me trying to pay to make the food. Saying “you can go now” multiple times in a rude manner while shewing me with his hand.

Honestly surprised to see an SBUX in Stowe, but it's a really nice store with regards to seating inside/out, plus the drinks & service were great.
We went to Black Cap across the street earlier - we always want to support local businesses first, but the service had attitude (as it did at the Montpelier location we visited earlier) and weak espresso. I needed a 3rd shot so it didn't look & taste like flavored milk. The breakfast sandwich was a microwaved processed egg patty with fairly decent ham and a pressed English muffin that tasted like cardboard. Hard to support local businesses if they serve processed Sysco-like food that is barely palatable! (And no added hidden fees here either)
Place is fine. It’s Starbucks… look and experience is like every Starbucks. Mostly I want to correct the record from an earlier review claiming that Black Cap (across the street) isn’t locally owned. That’s absolutely false. The owner of Black Cap lives in Stowe and has for 15 years.
