Had a great time with my sons after a long day of skiing. Great friendly waitress who was calm and communicative even in the midst of a crazy dinner rush and great food at fair prices.

We stopped here for dinner on our last day in Vermont, looking to grab a meal before heading back home. Even without a reservation—and with a group of 12 people—they were able to accommodate us.

The restaurant was extremely busy, and there was a bit of a wait (just over 45 minutes), but the staff was incredibly friendly and kept us updated the entire time, which made the wait much easier. Once we were seated, they surprised us with complimentary drinks for the inconvenience—completely unexpected and very appreciated, though honestly not necessary given how great the service already was.

The food was outstanding. We ordered a wide variety from the menu—chicken, beef, fried rice, sushi, and drinks—and everything was well made, flavorful, and fresh. Portion sizes were generous, prices were more than fair, and even the drinks were phenomenal.

Considering how busy the place was, we were really impressed with how smoothly everything ran and how efficiently they got us seated. This spot came highly recommended by the staff from our snowmobile adventure earlier in the day, who mentioned they even use this restaurant for their Christmas party—and now we understand why.

If the locals are eating here, you know it has to be good. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.

I was pleasantly surprised by the ambience and service. However, the food was as I expected it to be - nothing special. In fact, the food was a bit disappointing as the specialty sushi roll we ordered was tiny, and the sesame chicken was among the worst that I've had (but it wasn't like insanely horrible or anything). For the price, the food was a let down, but partially made up for by the excellent service and atmosphere!

We had a great experience at Sushi Yoshi in Vermont. Paula and Liv were fantastic servers — super attentive, friendly, and they truly took care of us. They even went out of their way to accommodate us when we didn’t receive a menu item, which we really appreciated.

The food was absolutely delicious, and we loved the atmosphere — it was lively and fun without feeling overwhelming. The only small thing I’d mention is that the chef could’ve been a bit more interactive; it felt like he might’ve just been going through the motions, though it was very busy so totally understandable.

Overall, an awesome experience with great service and food. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Vermont.

This is a big place and it's often really busy. But the sushi is wonderful and the service is great. Has everything you want from private areas for quiet dining to the Benihana style of ooh and aahing with cooking right in front of you. A local favorite and the tempura is perfect.

Sushi Yoshi isn’t just sushi! I had the best chicken dish (Mongolian Chicken) that I have had out in a long time. It was a generous portion with plenty left for lunch the next day. The server brought me a gluten free menu when I asked to confirm! My friends enjoyed their meals as well!

I ordered regular 2 rolls for take out (salmon cucumber and tuna cucumber). Requested side of eel sauce. Not only did they not put eel sauce , but they also did not include any utensils in the bag. It’s take out……common sense is to put utensils in the bag. Clearly, lack of attention to detail for a premium priced sushi. If they can’t do the little simple things right imagine what’s going on behind the kitchen.

This was a ski staple if you are staying up there for a few days. They are the only ones with a hibachi table fun with groups.

Disappointing Experience
Went to this hibachi place and it took forever for them to even start cooking our food. The chef went to help another table that was seated after us before finishing with ours. We barely saw our waiter the whole time, and the service overall was terrible. When the food finally came out, it wasn’t even tasty. Definitely not worth the wait or the price.
