I'll start by saying the food was amazing! Small portions. The hand rolls were itty bitty. No labels for allergens, not very accommodating for gluten-friendly/ dairy-free. The (unposted price) $25 martinis were much smaller than any typical martini I've ever ordered, which I do often. The glassware was odd and different, as if to throw us off that we weren't seemingly getting 3/4 of a full drink. Also, it was a birthday event...I asked if they do anything fun for...
The trout was piquant perfection, asked it to be relayed to the chef, seriously impressed! Paired with a glass of white wine, some kind of blend that was very tasty and loved the sustainability nods. My partner got the scallops with a white ale, and although equally delicious, the trout was our favorite. We sat at the bar with Carl, he was attentive and gave nice service, overall a very enjoyable meal!
10/22/2024. Arrived for cocktails party of 4 not a stowe guest. 5:15 pm male bartender, completely ignored us. Stepped 6 feet over to female bartender. Busy making drinks said good evening, be with you momentarily. She was very accommodating. Was pleasantly surprised they had Bordeaux by the glass.
