My wife and I had dinner and drinks at The Whip tonight. We walked over from our rental for an early dinner in the bar area. The atmosphere and seating was comfortable and the service was attentive. We were greeted immediately and our server regularly checked in with us. From a service perspective, this was the best we experienced on our trip to Stowe. The food was very good. We had mussels for an appetizer. The mussels were plump and fresh with no unopened shells. The service size was larger than expected. For dinner, we each enjoyed the corn chowder and shared the chicken pot pie. The corn chowder was standard (not bad) but the chicken pot pie was truly delicious and really hit the spot after a long day in the snow and cold. As far as drinks go, they have a good cocktail menu. We had a hot toddy, old-fashioned (just ok), bee's knees (very good) and an espresso martini (really made perfectly). We will definitely come back next time we are in Stowe.

Our group of six thoroughly enjoyed a delicious dinner on this weeknight in mid-March. The Green Mountain Inn salad was amazing, and three of us had it. The Chicken Pot Pie was hearty and tasty, the cod was great, the ratatouille was yummy, and the tofu was tasty. The wait staff was friendly, professional, and kept our water glasses filled. The restaurant was full but not too loud. We would definitely recommend it.

This restaurant, which was already one of my favorites in Stowe, did a great job of accommodating someone in our party with Celiac. The menu is clearly marked with gluten free items, and wait staff made us feel very comfortable that the restaurant knew what they were doing to avoid cross-contamination.

Great place, great service, food was tasty, but overcooked a med rare to med. That was not the 2 star, the 2 star was the advertised portion. Ordered the 12oz stripe and at best it was 6-7oz and the smallest and thinest strip steak I have ever seen....for $50. Def not worth it.

Had an excellent experience at Whip Bar & Grill. Steven, our waiter, was outstanding. Extremely professional, attentive, and genuinely knowledgeable. He made the entire experience feel top notch and was very informative about the menu.
We had a burger and a ribeye, and both were cooked perfectly. The wings we ordered as an appetizer were excellent, and the corn chowder was amazing as well.
Overall, fantastic food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend this place, and definitely ask for Steven.
