We cannot recommend The Restaurant at Hill Farm highly enough. We spent a spectacular evening celebrating our anniversary enjoying small plates, wood-fired pizzas, and tagliatelle. The service is impeccable and the atmosphere is beyond charming. If you’re looking for a sophisticated yet wholesome night out within a short drive from Manchester, come here and don’t second guess.

Loved the cocktails, appetizers, and entrees. They were imaginative, fresh quality ingredients, and had great blend of flavors. The hummus with charred cauliflower is a must have with the pita. I only wish we were able to try more things on the menu!

It was a great experience seeing the three young chefs Gabriel, Austin (Executive Chef) and Mark in action at Restaurant at Hill Farm.These three chefs were amazing! I had a wonderful meal with new found friends. Sofia, the manager, was awesome and so sweet. I felt like I was already a part of the family.My second time to visit the restaurant and see these amazing chefs in action.I believe every week they have new dishes to serve which are amazing!!! Executive Chef Austin, your expertise in coming up dishes is awesome. Each one of them will just surprise you how beautifully he blends different ingredients to come up with such delicious dishes.Wonderful young professionals with excellent food and service. First time to try their dishes. The rustic ambience and the bar is perfect. The service is friendly and efficient. They dish out amazing cocktails. The scallop ceviche and pita and hummus were delicious. The kids loved the marinara pizza. The fish if the day with the herb sauce was great. Definitely, one of the best meals we have had in VT. First time dining at the Restaurant at Hill Farm and we already can't wait to come back during our next VT visit! Friendly, kind, attentive service and a spectacular meal. Every element in every dish was delicious. We enjoyed the pickled vegetables, hummus (homemade pita OMG), brisket, mushroom risotto, and fish special. The chocolate mouse with raspberry preserves and pistachios was a perfect way to end the meal. They also had a nice alcohol free set of cocktails. Five stars plus!

We travel a lot, all over the world. We've never experienced a warmer, happier, gentler atmosphere than at Hill Farm. Every single staff member -- from reception to kitchen to gardeners -- was cheerful, helpful, and kind. The physical premises and surroundings are gorgeous, but the overall feeling of welcome and care here are almost impossible to describe. This is an extraordinary place.

A bucolic oasis in Southern Vermont. What a treasure! Gorgeous and peaceful, we spent our afternoon on the lawns of Hill Farm picnicking, watching alpacas, and taking a moment to sit in peace surrounded by lush summer greenery. A rainy storm moved us to the gorgeous wrap-around porch where we sipped tea and pet kitties. At night we lounged in a beautiful and cozy sitting room playing board games with an evening coffee. In the morning we went on a trek down to their nature trial that runs adjacent to the Battenkill and provided us with a little workout. Hill Farm is beautiful. Shabby chic, with an emphasis on chic for sure, while staying true to the vibe of Southern Vermont. It's a great place to be in love. Take your honey here. We are already talking about going back.

Wonderful inn! Quiet pastoral setting. Welcomed by Trinity who was very personable and helpful. Room was cozy with premium linens and towels. Tiled shower. Small bar providing the basics. Enjoyed a fabulous dinner at the restaurant. Delicious appetizer and dinner (wood-fired pita with hummus and brisket entree). Sat at the bar as Olivia entertained us as she concocted her various cocktails. A very special dining experience. Can’t wait to go back!
